The room was clean and the A/C worked great. The breakfast was okay. The room where they had it was very small and could only allow a small number of people to sit and eat.

This hotel was so comfortable, warm and cozy! I love that they have complimentary soup (chicken & dumplings our first night, beef stew the second night) and my kids adored the ice cream cooler full of complimentary treats! The breakfast was small but I thought they were very creative and diverse with their options for a small facility. Ample parking and just a couple miles from the U of Maine or a quick trip to Bangor/the airport. My only complaint was that the A/C unit was very noisy. I'm a light sleeper so, unfortunately, this was a deal breaker for me in terms of getting any good sleep. I was able to run a constant fan on the AC unit, but every time the air kicked on it was like a plane taking off. SO loud!

The extra amenities of soup and coffee in the lounge during the day, as well as the snack boxes to go available at breakfast are very thoughtful. Don't forget the complimentary ice cream bars. The super friendly staff in addition will all make me want to come back here and stay again.
