Candlewood Suites Owasso by IHG

The overall stay was good, clean, friendly staff. They offered crockpots, air fryers, etc. pretty cool. Only issue was TV was not working from the start of the stay. Gentleman up front gave my husband a number to call for WiFi help? It shouldn’t be his problem to try and fix the TV? Another employee the next day Offered him a room to watch tv in or even move rooms but after 13 hour shift he was not wanting to move. Then maintenance was supposed to come during the day, never showed up for it. How hard is it to fix a TV? Something my husband wasn’t able to do because of the remote, but also shouldn’t be his responsibility. Finally I called and spoke to the front desk (I’m 5 hours away), and she offered him a new room. So he went ahead and moved after a 13 hour work shift.. Other than that, the stay was great!

Clean room

Room was ok but a few more chairs would have been nice. I thought that we would have had at least one housekeeping day but we managed.

They didn't have the room we booked for our family. They put us in two separate rooms that they claimed we're adjoining, but they were not. This was less than ideal for a family with children. The carpet smelled bad, the tub faucet dripped and the outlet on the lamp by the bed was loose and didn't keep the plug in. The other outlet on the table must not have worked because my tablet didn't charge overnight. I asked for maid service so I could have clean towels each morning, but didn't get them. I had to go to the front desk to ask for more. Then I had to stand in front of the clerk at the front desk for 10 minutes waiting for her to finish a phone call. I was taught in customer service that the customer in front of you takes precedence over the one on the phone. The service industry is in dire need of change. This hotel will definitely NOT be my first choice in the future.

I travel to the area for 2-4 days a month. When my favorite Airbnb is booked I usually stay here. It’s a Great location and extremely friendly staff. I’ve stayed 3-4 times in the past. The first room had an hvac issue. The manager on duty was very accommodating and moved me quickly to another room. I felt like the grounds outside were very nice kept vs the previous times I’ve stayed. The refrigerator made a lot of noise and the supplies were minimal (coffee/towels). I was disappointed as I’ve stayed before and everything was great. I couldn’t pinpoint it, but something has changed. I don’t know if I’ll stay again.

This property had false amenities and refused to refund us. The hotel smelled like mildew and the downgraded our reservation from a king to a queen without prior authorization. The walls are thin and people wers running up and down the halls. The pullout couch had stains and no bedding. We had to request more bedding. Seriously disappointed.

We stopped to sleep so we were not there very long. The room was clean. The room we booked (with 2 beds) ac did not work when we got there the receptionist moved us to another room (with 1 bed) and stayed to make sure the ac worked so that was very nice. after the ac in the first room did not work and we were moved to the next room there was a family with kids that was walking around outside banging on the windows I informed the receptionists of this. Then running up and down the hallways at 9 oclock at night. I wish that the hotel had quiet hours.

There was no chair to set in. It could have been because it was a handicapped room.

The staff was friendly and helpful

Clean, large room. Love having a full fridge/freezer. Free laundry if needed. Was hot in the room even with heat off. Could not get it cooled down.

Easy access and employees were very nice. The correct information was not shared between Booking and the hotel. They had no record that I had already paid and pressed to have me pay again. Fortunately I could pull up proof that it was paid and then the hotel agreed. Also, I booked an accessible room which we were not given and there wasn’t one available. The other room was supposed to be two double beds and both rooms we were given had one bed each. Sleeping was very tight and uncomfortable. I have no way of knowing if this was an issue with the hotel or with Booking. I have used Booking for years and this has never happened before.

Fanciest room I’ve ever stayed in. Will definitely consider Candlewood Suites in the future. Couldn’t stay longer than one night. Lol.

Great location to shopping and restaurants Needs a remodel in a serious way-carpet, paint, elevator floor

I reserved a pet friendly room/suite with a queen bed. I was put on the 3rd floor, with a room that had one full size bed with two small flat pillows. When i asked for an extra pillow, the Front desk staff said there weren't any. It was very inconvenient taking the dog up & down three flights of stairs to potty.
