La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Paducah

Smells like cigarettes. Our rooms AC was shot and would not go below 75. Mattresses were messed up like they had been jumped on or ran over. We will stay somewhere else next time.

Negatives: The room was comfortable but had old carpeting and there were some bathroom walls/light switches that needed cleaning. The room did not have a coffee maker.

The motel advertised that a hot tub was available, it was not. The webpage also stated cribs or small beds were available for children and there were no beds available. The property had severe chipped paint throughout the whole property. My room had ripped carpet. The evening staff when I checked in was pleasant; however the manager at check out was very snappy and uncooperative with making the experience an improvement of what I was currently experiencing.

The decor was nice. The room was dirty. There was urine in the toilet seat. The shower didn’t work.

Nice room, great location, close to Texas Roadhouse Bandana's and fast food eateries galore movie theater and shopping mall. Bathroom shower doors were streaked with grime. The bed wasn't made up well, if even the sheets were clean, the bed was "made up" messy. I had to sleep on top comforter, therefore I had to buy a blanket for my stay. Other then that, the room was nicely done.

Location was very convenient. Easy to find and to reach from the interstate. The staff was friendly and helpful. Old. In need of bvious maintenance. Worn carpet. Poor lighting. Damaged walls. 3rd floor elevator buttons attached poorly with clear plastic tape.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was just right. We sat in the commons rea one evening.

Don’t stay here. Trash on the floor. Trash under the bed. Everything felt gross. Soap was out in the bathroom. When I went to the front desk to ask for a new bottle, I was given what was clearly an old dirty bottle that was just refilled - they didn’t even bother to clean off the dirt from the pump. Breakfast was nasty.

The room was satisfactory. We had two queen beds. One mattress was is need of replacing. The shower was good but the shower curtain had a bad mildew stink. Housekeeping not paying attention to basics caused us to smell the bad aroma. Lastly the breakfast was not that good. Sausage was really bad. Eggs were good though. I made an egg sandwich.

I normally stay at one hotel when I go to Paducah. This trip my favorite hotel was booked. I had heard good things about LaQuinta so I decided to take a chance. Toilet stopped up and I had to wait on the one employee to bring a plunger which took forever, only one associate working the entire building when I checked in. Dingy towels and washcloths, shower curtain hung too high therefore all of the water splashed outside the shower, disgusting Caucasian hair in the sheets, breakfast was mid at best. The breakfast area was packed and it took forever for the attendant to set out refills. A horrible experience. 0 out of 10 I do not recommend.

The bathroom outlets did not work. The circuit breaker outlet was broken. And the ice machine was out of order.

Quick and easy check-in and out. Friendly staff. The breakfast was very delicious and had my favorite Belgian Waffles. Spacious room. My only con was I thought we were getting an accessible room with roll in shower but on check-in we had a tub. It did have a shower chair and hand rails so we were ok.
