Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort and Spa

The hotel is good for the price. It has been undergoing renovations and the rooms are very nice as is most of the physical property. Only 1 elevator was working so waits could be long. The biggest problem was the lack of staff for the restaurants, the lobby bar and the pool. The staff that was there was excellent, but they were overworked and stressed. There was only 1 waitress at breakfast, not even a bus boy to help. It took 1:15 for breakfast. The food was very good when it arrived. Hopefully they get more staff as it has a lot of potential for a boutique hotel.

I do not agree to pay a fee that was never disclosed to me. This morning, I asked the gentleman at the front desk what the charge was for, and he told me it was for the amenitiesnot for an early check-in. I would appreciate an explanation and ask that this charge be reviewed.as it was my choice if I wanted to pay 100 extra it will be nice to communicate

The AC was working. When we checked in we were told that it was just the “lobby”. We later learned that the person at the desk was told to lie and they knew it was a problem throughout most of the hotel. We had reserved/requested an upgraded room and even though the hotel was almost empty we were not given that room. We had a oceanfront view room however we had to keep the drapes closed to try to keep as much heat out as possible. There were very few lights in the room, so we were stuck in a hot dark room. It was miserable. There was supposed to be valet parking however we only saw a valet once. I would NOT recommend this hotel! We tried to move to the hotel next door (Four Seasons) however it was full due to the World Cup team from Portugal staying there. Although the Tideline has undergone a remodeling recently it is not a high quality hotel. There is a saying about putting lipstick on a pig….Don’t fall for the pictures. DO NOT stay at the Tideline.

Excellent stay - can’t wait to return

Everything was great except that the main lobby felt like the A/C was broken. It was humid and hot.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel was dirty, and the price was far too high for the quality of the services provided. The air conditioning was not working properly, making the stay very uncomfortable. In addition, there was a bad smell throughout the entire hotel. Overall, I do not believe this hotel offers good value for the money, and I would not recommend it.

No desk or space designated for laptop if you are working offsite. No pen or paper to write on. TV remote is not user friendly ( we have to look in youtube how to operate the volume). Safe box is broken, not working. First room we were in , no extra chair, no garbage can. They moved us to another room, AC was still noisy, maybe a little better than the first. Beach staff were very friendly and helpful.

There is no customer service. We’ve been staying by at this hotel for years however the level of service is not up to par. The beach service is just about the only part that is good as the waiters run around and try their best to help us settle in. The staff inside the hotel are few far and in between and sometimes not even there.

I will never stay there again nor recommend this place.

Habitaciones básicas no muy limpias , en el área de la piscina el personal sentado sin cambiar los foros de las camillas de las personas q ya lo habían utilizado , puesto q uno mismo tiene q atenderse. Las habitaciones no tienen microondas. Muy básico todo

Staff was great and helpful. The room was not clean and had cracks on the floor, the carpet definitely needs cleaning. I did not have car parked on the property and they were able to deduct it from my bill. When I received my bill, it was not the price that hotels.com had confirmed that included the resorts fee and taxes. I mentioned it to the receptionist, and she told me to email the property manager, I have still not heard back from him.

It was a great spot. Staff was incredible. I would definitely return and I’ve already recommended it to three friends.

My stay was very nice although sauna was not operating and spa was not staffed properly. Could not accommodate new appointments.

Room was not clean. There was hair everywhere, especially in the bathrooms. Service by the beach was slow and took a long time for chairs / umbrella to even be acquired. Walls were so thin I could hear room neighbors doing the bare minimum of talking. Valet service was nice at arrival but ignored opening doors / closing doors after the initial arrival. Drinks were disgustingly when ordered and poolside waiter was very inattentive when bringing this up. Wanted to visit spa but did not want to risk having yet another bad experience. Not great service at luxury prices, I will not be returning.
