Didn’t have enough time to explore, but will be staying here again

Very quiet, nice, and relaxing gem. Perfect location

It was ok. Definitely not Palm Beach standard, but it was the dead of summer. We used the pool in the evening and the next morning our dirty towels were still where we left them along with all the other towels soaked from the rain. The staff in general looked at us like they weren't sure what we were doing there and it took 30 minutes to get an umbrella set up on the beach with zero service afterwards. There's also no ice machine or microwave and the restaurant closed early and charged $22 for a poorly made cocktail in a plastic cup. We were glad the Four Seasons was next door so we could get proper amenities and service at least for dinner and drinks. That said, the beach was of course lovely and Benny's is just a 10 minute walk on the sand for a proper breakfast. I am assuming that in season it is a better experience, but I was not impressed.

Everything was perfect

The hotel rooms had mold in them. It was like a ghost town there!
-
Room was clean front desk staff was kind

This hotel has seen better days, maybe cause it was summer, the whole trip was underwhelming and there were little things missing everywhere. Would not recommend for the price.

The hotel is good but the restaurant is too expensive

This is a lux property that is showing its age. Pics upsell a bit…. Location, location, it’s an ideal spot in W. Palm Beach….. great access to 95, shopping, less than 15 min to the airport. The pool deck is wonderful, clean, an abundance of fluffy towels. And well maintained. Direct beach access , free chairs and umbrellas, no up charge. But the seaweed at the water line is a problem, blocks water access except for the brave. It needs to be removed, daily! One elevated was out the whole time, spotty internet & cable-oh no and front deck staff were scarce …. The room was comfortable and clean. Beds were adequate …. And the price for beach front is affordable. And don’t forget the resort fee and $35/day car parking fee, adds almost a $100 to your base room rate. A few blemishes. Would I return- yes… the convenience makes it a buy.

It was a nice staff and I would stay here again because of the convenience of the beach and it was clean. But, there is not much information provided anywhere so you have to ask for everything. The wait staff for food are terrible. No personality, act like it's killing them to wait on you. We were the only people there for lunch. The lightning in the rooms is terrible. Light over the toilet working sometimes. No clock at all in the room. They allow dogs so be prepared for ones that bark the whole time that the owners leave them alone in their room. The rooms are sound proof between walls but not doors so you hear everything that happens near the doors or in the hallways. The amenities are abundant in the bathroom. Water pressure in the shower is poor. You might as well use valet because you pay the same price to park 10 feet from the door, if you park it or they do. They don't tell you that until you are checking out. Additional $35 a day parking fee. That is a complete rip off. The place was empty so charging people on top of the additional resort fees is a ripoff. The beach is covered in seaweed and the water as well so it's not enjoyable.

But there are NO CABANAS to use or rent .. they are there but in a terrible disrepair . Very disappointing . No outdoor bar either , again disappointing . Floors very dirty everywhere , balconys in the Room full of corrosion on door frames , broken tv wall supports , phone in room broken .. no ice machines . Beautiful location , going to crap because of lack of maintenance and any money being put back into the property .. first time here , should have been a happier memory .. very unfortunate.

Hidden fees, and unauthorized charges! Scam
-
The hotel is good for the price. It has been undergoing renovations and the rooms are very nice as is most of the physical property. Only 1 elevator was working so waits could be long. The biggest problem was the lack of staff for the restaurants, the lobby bar and the pool. The staff that was there was excellent, but they were overworked and stressed. There was only 1 waitress at breakfast, not even a bus boy to help. It took 1:15 for breakfast. The food was very good when it arrived. Hopefully they get more staff as it has a lot of potential for a boutique hotel.

I do not agree to pay a fee that was never disclosed to me. This morning, I asked the gentleman at the front desk what the charge was for, and he told me it was for the amenitiesnot for an early check-in. I would appreciate an explanation and ask that this charge be reviewed.as it was my choice if I wanted to pay 100 extra it will be nice to communicate

The rooms where nice and clean

The AC was working. When we checked in we were told that it was just the “lobby”. We later learned that the person at the desk was told to lie and they knew it was a problem throughout most of the hotel. We had reserved/requested an upgraded room and even though the hotel was almost empty we were not given that room. We had a oceanfront view room however we had to keep the drapes closed to try to keep as much heat out as possible. There were very few lights in the room, so we were stuck in a hot dark room. It was miserable. There was supposed to be valet parking however we only saw a valet once. I would NOT recommend this hotel! We tried to move to the hotel next door (Four Seasons) however it was full due to the World Cup team from Portugal staying there. Although the Tideline has undergone a remodeling recently it is not a high quality hotel. There is a saying about putting lipstick on a pig….Don’t fall for the pictures. DO NOT stay at the Tideline.

Excellent stay - can’t wait to return

Everything was great except that the main lobby felt like the A/C was broken. It was humid and hot.
