Clean room, great staff, great pool with beautiful views

When we entered our room had dead bugs on the night stand when we walked in and in the bathroom, we called room service for both days and front desk nobody ever answered or called back went to the front to ask for assistance they said they would call us back we waited 3 hours and heard nothing and the pool was dirty as well as a hole in the ceiling by our door entrance.

Bar staff were nice

The property needs to be updated and maintained. Outdated and the air conditioning was not adequate and the room A/C’s were extremely loud. Not worth the price.

I called Expedia, they didn't care

The WiFi did not work. The clerk did not give me my discount card for bucket of golf balls. There were no restrooms close to pool.

The hallways had the same cooling issue, it was so hot, we didn’t feel the difference between walking inside and outside. It was incredible hot and the experience was terribly miserable for us. We called beforehand to let the hotel know we were arriving to checkin around 7pm and the front desk woman said she will accommodate and notate that we will be checking out at 12:30 the next day. Yet when I spoke to the employee the next day in the morning who claimed there was no note and that she was doing me favor extending our checkout. We left by 10am, we couldn’t survive in there any longer.

I love the property. It was clean, staff was super helpful. I went with my bf for a weekend getaway. Pool and casino were the main objectives and of course relaxation.

The room is supposed to be the most comfy part of the trip!!! They need to do better!!

What I didn’t like: Room was not cleaned properly. We found an empty beer can sticking out from under the couch, a piece of dirty underwear hiding behind the tv stand, and the pull out couch had multiple stains on the cushion. A/C worked but would lose strength throughout the day and could not be adjusted lower. The pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable, with the mattress lacking any sort of proper cushioning to the point that the metal underneath could be felt while laying on it. We asked for at least two rollout beds to help the 2 guests sleeping on that super uncomfortable pullout, but was only offered one rollout bed, per their policy. You would have thought that it being a Doubletree property, management would have been more accommodating after experiencing these issues, but that was not the case. One lady at the front desk mentioned multiple rooms were without A/C after it malfunctioned. Thank goodness that didn’t happen to us, but it’s concerning to know that it happened to multiple guests at a hotel you would think would not have these types of issues. Overall, a disappointing experience.

This is a great property. The staff is very friendly and nice. Just keep doing what you are doing.
