Decent for a weekend 👍I think it's a cheap quick stay

Clean room, No Bugs, but very basic only has a fridge, bed, 2 night stands with no drawers and a tv with 1 channel.

Room was very clean pool could use some TLC. Staff was so nice and helpful!!

I genuinely enjoyed my stay. My wife and I planned a last minute trip to the beach for our anniversary, and we’re both so glad we picked here. It’s right across the street from the beach, there’s a great coffee shop right next door, there’s a great restaurant just two buildings down, and best part of all is that it’s affordable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway. And Mrs. Niki was great

I’d stay again

Did not even stay. Walked in the room and there was dirt everywhere. The air was extremely musty. The top lock on our door was broken. There were no comforters on the bed. The table was broken. And the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Walking outside it smelled like weed, and at night had no lighting. Everything there made me scared for my safety.

This property was absolutely horrible!! We didn't even go inside. Very scary for 2 60+ year old women and 2 teenage girls!! The window units were hanging out of windows, rust running down the outside walls!! Very seedy place. Their advertisment was completely misleading, it shows a nice hotel on the beach, it is not! They did refund my $ immediately. I don't recommend this place at all.

Nice and quiet

Dirty room, no hand soap, literally no blanket comforter quilt or anything for warmth, toilet flushed 1/3 of the time, the store in photos is not there anymore, the entire inside and outside are empty and rundown. Photos are extremely inaccurate and outdated. I also had banging my door throughout the night and was very scared. Please do not stay here!!!

We love the Banana Peel. It's the most perfect old school beach motel. Very clean, everyone is so friendly and helpful. This was our fourth stay at the Banana Peel. Nothing fancy, very laid back.

The staff was amazing! Rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The appearance online was a little misleading to the property currently. There is new management and they are working hard to make it better. Its in a great location and close to everything. The beach is a short walk across the street.

There was bugs and very dirty. I will never stay there again

This listing is complete and total false advertising. The entire property smells of cigarettes and vomit. The floor had literally brown dirt and slime on the floor, bugs in the bed and floor. We didn’t even touch anything we checked out immediately and the lady was like “okay, bye” like it was just an average day. I have disputed the charge and called the health department. The is no way someone wouldn’t catch live or scabies from this place and I don’t even want to know what the pool would do to them.

Staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. The pool was disgusting with algae growing all around it. There were two picnic tables for you to sit at even if you wanted to go to the pool because the other chairs were dry rotted with holes in them. The rooms were terrible, nothing like the photos pictured. The blinds looked so gross that did not even want to touch them. The floors were so bad that we had to use a towel and clean them before we could even walk on them. We literally wore our shoes the entire time we were there until we got to the bed. There was no trashcan in the room and no comforter on the bed other than a sheet. There were two positives about the hotel, the bed slept great, and it was very close to the beach, other than that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We will never stay here again.

The pictures are very deceiving. It is very rundown. We couldn’t use the pool as it was gross. The room was clean but very run down. The bed had a sheet and a blanket folded over. There is no door separating the bathroom from the sleeping area (very much a surprise). It was in a convenient location with plenty of restaurants and across the street from the beach. The staff (one person) was always kind and helpful. With even a little bit of work the whole outside could be so much more appealing-empty flower pots, weeds in the flower beds-most of the outdoor furniture was broken (get rid of all the outside furniture and unusable stuff in the courtyard). The motel lobby at one time was a deli and had a lot of unnecessary unused equipment in it. The out side of the motel needed cleaning up s well.

Pool wasn’t clean water got all in the floor when showering tv in room didn’t work couldn’t connect to wifi

Didn't even stay at the property after arriving. Room was not as pictured at all, pool was dirty and closed. Roaches inside and outside the room. The room was disgusting and bed sheets were stained. People were outside our window talking to themselves. We left after I took photos for complaint and found a whole new hotel to stay at. I highly DON'T recommend.

When going to PCB I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! I have loved staying here for years and hope to for years to come. My grandkids absolutely love the resort!
