Holiday Inn Express & Suites Panama City Beach - Beachfront by IHG

Parking is $20 a day up front and the didn’t say that when I booked. So I expected to pay $135~ but paid $200 at the desk. The lobby and other public areas were kept really clean! Lobby smells really good. The elevators were cool ao it was sa nice relief entering those areas. The room looked clean upon entry but after further inspection we regretted pulling off the blankets and sheets. In general, it’s cleanish, but not entirely. The mattresses had stains which happens but the mattress covers had multiple rips, bed frame has been wet and dripped rust into the floor and stained carpet. All things we could live with but others may not. There’s also a gas leak you smell as you pass the grill while going around the lazy river. Overall it was a you get what you pay for thing. But not horrible! Breakfast gets busy fast so get there early for a seat! Great selection of food. Grill is rather expensive but everything is down there.

Be prepared to pay hundreds of dollars per night PLUS get charged daily for parking ON THE HOTEL PROPERTY. How in the world is parking not included in the stay?! Also, no one ever cleaned our room. 4 nights & no one cleaned. They barely took out the trash. Breakfast was good.

We stay here every year and absolutely love it. Great staff, always clean and everything you need all in one place.

We had a wonderful trip, there were 6 of us in total and it was great. The beachfront access and the pools were amazing, continental breakfast and poolside bar (with food) was so convenient. There were a couple souvenir shops and restaurants within walking distance. If we come back to PCB we will absolutely book here again.

The location is hard to beat—just steps from the beach, which made going back and forth with kids so easy. The multiple pools were a huge hit, and one of my favorite surprises was how affordable the beach chair and umbrella rentals were. They were the cheapest we’ve ever found at a beach! $50 per day for a set! The only downside is they pack everything up around 5:00 PM, so keep that in mind if you like staying on the beach later. Another thing that really stood out was the complimentary coffee, tea, and infused water available all day. It’s such a small touch, but it made a big difference and was so appreciated after coming in from the beach. The poolside bar was also fantastic—the food was surprisingly good, and being able to charge everything to our room was super convenient. Especially popsicles for the kids! They offer an amazing breakfast too! Our room wasn’t perfect. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, and the TV definitely looked like it belonged in the early 2000s (my husband wasn’t thrilled that it wasn’t HD! 😂). But honestly, we spent so much time enjoying the beach and pools that those things didn’t affect our trip much. Overall, the amenities, location, and value made this an excellent stay. We had a great family vacation and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, affordable beachfront getaway!

The staff is truly a blessing to work with. Very friendly, professional and attentive. I truly enjoyed speaking with everyone who made our stay enjoyable. I strongly recommend that the cleaning staff check and clean the rooms correctly and not just throw sheets to cover a problem up on the beds. In my room, my younger daughter noticed a soiled stain on the top bunk bed mattress which could have been for a number of sources. That particular stain was there for some time because it was pretty soiled in that mattress. I brought the issue to the hotel staff and they immediately handled the issue. This is why I appreciate the staff at this facility because they actually cared to handle the issue as quickly as possible. I do however expect better Quality control and cleaning practices so this does not become an issue for future visits. If I am paying for a clean room, I am expecting a clean room from top to bottom.

Elevator was broken the entire time, AC in the room was garbage, balcony door weighed like 300 lbs, bird poop on balcony, no AC on floor with broken elevator

The pools and walkways were really clean and well maintained. They also had events every evening like bonfire,family friendly movie and dance show and live music. Breakfast was filling and fresh with good options. We can't wait to go back for another vacation!!

Couldn’t ever find a cart or find someone that knew where to get a cart but would get upset if you parked you car in front to try to unload some suitcase in lobby before you went to park so you didn’t have to walk from over flow with heavy bags/totes . Stayed here plenty of times and it was one of the worst stays ever this weekend.

Excellent staff and my family really enjoyed the pool and lazy river.

We drove 12 hours and made it a lot sooner than we anticipated and arrived at 6am. Check in was 4pm. The amazing woman at the front desk checked and was able to check us in that minute. The entire property was very clean and accessible and it’s right on the beach. The kids had an amazing time with movies at the pool and lazy river every night, Polynesian fire shows 2 nights, and a beach bonfirer on Friday. The food at the bar and grill was on point .There are so many restaurants and stuff readily accessible within short distances of the hotel. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It was such a great experience. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Best Place in Town!!

I loved the location and the amenities. No need to even leave the property the offer everything from food,entertainment,pool, and the beach is just steps away. Our room was not cleaned the entire time, we had to call and ask for towels and toilet paper ect.
