Older establishment. But covered all the points of my stay. Quiet. Close to the water. And a nice pool

The images and reviews on this property are misleading. The property is unkept! The room had no bedside lighting. One lamp on the TV stand across the room. The room smelled of musk horribly! I sprayed Lysol and Fabreeze just to get a decent smell in the room. The pool area and hot tub had small ant like bugs everywhere and is also extremely unkept. The room doors are exterior, there is a small window in the rooms that face the street. Beach facing rooms are an extra charge. The washer and dryers on the property are small and cost $2 a cycle and it only accepts quarters. The ice machine is locked with a debt card processor attached. This was the most uncomfortable stay I have ever had with an Expedia booking and WILL NOT book again!

great place to stay!

I guess I got my moneys worth. The staff were sweet though

Nice to be on the outskirts of Panama City, but close enough for dinner. Beach was nice and clean. Easy walk down. Rooms were good enough. We had an accessible room and it was spacious. Two separate sleep areas, so my snoring didn’t bother the others.

Was so accommodating after our other hotel had tons of roaches! We moved here it was the best decision we could have made! Close to the beach, rooms were clean, staff was great! Will stay here again!

I like the fact that it’s on the beach and it’s in a quiet area.

Nice experience the hotel are clean and the room was big and clean really close to the beach I’m glad staying here.

My husband and I visited beachside resort on last Tuesday. We were originally supposed to stay in room 337. Most of the numbers on the rooms were faded off. When we arrived to the room, you'd have to shove yourself into the door for it to open. There was no phone in the room, and no nightstand and lamp on one side of the bed. I quickly informed the front desk, and we were upgraded to a new room. The new room was visibly better than the last, but the AC was not working, and the sink and tub drains were clogged. I did not report this to the front desk, because I didn't want to have to move our things again. We ultimately just sucked it up, and enjoyed our time on the beach. My husband and I have visited Beachside Resort for many years, but this time was a very different experience. Hopefully, next time will be better!

The pictures and reviews are misleading for sure. We didn’t end up staying at this location after trying to check in there was issues they were great about refunding.
-
Place was absolutely filthy (room was barely clean enough to be able to stay one night), Furniture and entire property look dated and in urgent need of an overhaul. Front desk treats guests as if they were minors - did not appreciate that! Pool and hot tub were somewhat hard to reach and hot tub was barely lukewarm.
-
The place needs updated & renovated bad though. Door didn’t close easily & ended up being left open a couple times, doing dishes was not happening as there was no water pressure. Wall was starting to rot away in places. Thankfully it was a short trip (4 nights) & we were literally almost never in the room, but not a place I would book a long trip.

This was an amazing property for an awesome long weekend getaway. We had such a great time and really enjoyed your place. The room was beautiful. The balcony PERFECT! And the views, breathtaking. Thank you for a wonderful time

Rooms were clean and we had plenty of towels. Property was quiet during our stay which made it perfect for a weekend getaway for me and my husband. I will definitely stay there again!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but when I walked into the lobby of this place, it reeked of marijuana and nobody greeted me. I felt very unwelcome. I had to wait until my room was ready & once it was ready I was placed on some lower level room and the furniture looked like it was from the 1920s and not in a good way. The room also smelled yucky. Luckily they gave me a full refund and I was able to bounce, but this place needs a serious update in furniture and attitude.

The hotel was conveniently located on the beach which was very nice. Good location. The room was average, bedding, mattress and towels were all very clean. The room was basic though and the furniture and room a little worn but to be expected I guess and for the price it was not bad. Didn't spend much time in the room so it did the job. Will go again, if the deals are great.

- Early check-in unavailable; am ok with that, just wanted to try anyway. Told they would call when room was READY, which they did twice; 2:30ish and 3:15ish, but we were shopping, didn't hear the phone) - checked in a little past 4 and sent to the Section 8 version of the hotel: bottom corner beachfront room, grass so tall you couldn't see the beach, bed not made, towels and sheets on the dresser; one livid woman heads up stairs to correct THAT fiasco. Room upgraded to two queen beds, balcony overlooking the beach as well as a discount; win win. Lighting fixtures on the headboard; no power, limited areas to recharge devices. Room was clean, stuck in the decor of the 70s which was ok, didn't spend alot of time in it. Pool area very nice, clean and the Bar-n-grill had excellent food as well as prices. Biggest pet peeve was dealing with the admin office about the original charge versus the discounted charge I should see- personally, the girl had an uppity attitude, very snarky and a bit condescending when explaining what she saw on her end and what I needed to do on my end. Ever hear the term " sniff of derision or hear someone smirking on the other end? Yeah, THAT was her- will never stay here again & will not recommend it to ANYONE- btw- another customer tried to check on after 4 and she was told HER Room wasn't ready and to check back in 30 minutes. THIS WAS AT SEASON'S END NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT!!

The people were very polite. I did not know that I would have to pay an extra $15 per night for parking. The furniture and appliances were outdated. Sand on the floors. The outside showers were not working. Not much water pressure so all the sand that came off of you settled in the bottom of the shower. No handheld wand to help wash the sand down the drain. Lamp by the bed had a short in it so it flickered when you wanted to use it. One elevator wasn't working and there is only two. Thank goodness we were on the 4th floor.

Lights didn’t work in the rooms.

The place we stayed was amazing. We were on the first floor so everything was right when you walked out. The staff had to do some maintenance while we were there is the only complaint I had. I will have to say they were very friendly and apologetic. The pool was nice and clean. The small kitchenette saved us a lot of money. I would definitely consider staying at this place again next year.
