Beachside Resort Panama City Beach

A little pricey for the state of the room. Floors were sticky, some lights didn’t work, bathroom was old. Also beware staff does enter your room throughout your stay with no notice. Nothing we had was missing of coarse but it was a little off putting there was no warning or notice.

The Good - the location sits directly on the beach. The Bad - there were multiple hidden fees that were assessed at check-in (such as $17 for parking, multiple other miscellaneous fees, etc). Also, the property is quite dated with obsoleted amenities (the few that were offered). The Ugly - the property itself (is reminesent of the 70's or 80's.) Nevertheless, there were droves of guests onsite. However, for $200+/night, one can do much better than this location.

The staff was extremely nice. The room was adequate size but the carpet was kind of dirty and somewhat sticky. If you didn’t wear shoes your feet would be gross. There is a full size refrigerator and a microwave. You will need to bring paper towels and utensils if needed. The pool was enjoyed by the grandkids but there was dirt and hair at the bottom. The hot tub was dirty as well. The bar and grill on the property was wonderful. The food was good and Karen who worked there was so nice. The beach area was quiet and not busy even during the busy holiday week. It is difficult to get beach wagons down to the beach since the access is too levels of stairs. Overall a good experience.

The Rooms,Beach,amenities were quite great, However the service and the way the hotel runs things were not the Best and left us tired and angry in the beginning of our trip. It says check in is at 4 but they had told us it wasnt reassured the rooms qould be ready at the time. I get the rooms not being ready due to having to clean the rooms and etc. However the hotel needs to be prepared with the time, rooms, and the way they run the hotel overall.

We enjoyed our stay! Our room was on the second story right above the pool and hot tub with a great view of the ocean! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place if your in PCB! Great location on the quieter end of the beach but not far from all the action.

Old hotel but still good. Clean and cheerful staff. We enjoyed our 3 nights stay. Good location for ocean viewing. We will come back again.

So the staff was very nice. The location to the beach was 10/10. However,the room was very out of date. Stained carpet,old light fixtures,damaged upholstery on the furniture,the blinds on the window were broken and the air conditioning drains off of the balcony and dripped on us while we were outside lol. I know that Clorox means cleanliness but the smell burnt my nostrils. Sad to say I will not stay there again. It may be great for some but it was not what I expected.

Out dated decor and limited amenities. Parking free for all but limited. GREAT BEACH VIEW! Pillows flat and bed so so....not enough toilet paper. Decent price though.

I don’t know where all these great reviews come from. This place is dirty and VERY outdated. The only good thing is location and the maintenance did replace our air unit quickly. The house keeping was apologetic for the nasty room. Dirty bed, linens, furniture nasty. The bathroom ceiling is sagging above shower. Like someone might fall through from above. Probably water damage. Looks like extended stay place. Never will stay there again. Pictures on website are deceiving. The owners seriously need to put some TLC in this place.

Staff was absolutely the best

I like the closeness to the beach and easy beach access. We had a room with the kitchenette(oven wouldn't get as hot as the temperature you set it on)and an extra divided room. The room we didn't sleep in smelled like strong pee, the 2nd day there, the toilet overflowed and poop came out all over the bathroom floor, maintenance came quickly to unclog the toilet but housekeeping didn't come right away to clean it so we had to use towels to clean the floor so we could continue using the restroom until housekeeping showed up to clean it. The hot tub was not functioning, kids were allowed to roam freely at night. The door to our room had to be pulled closed cause otherwise it didn't latch properly and all you had to do was push the door open, good thing we noticed early. We were also not told of the extra fee to be able to park at the place we were staying at and that didn't even guarantee you a spot to park on the lot because a lot of cars didn't have passes and would be parked there and we had to park across the street in the overflow parking lot. We enjoyed the view we had but the honest truth is, we would not return, for $300 a night plus $15/ day parking, I expected more.

The room was really nice. Great view. Very quiet and peaceful.

I was so disappointed in our stay. The carpet was filthy and there was one green armchair that was filthy. The arms were brown from dirt. Our camper shower is bigger than the one in this room. There were black spots on the ceiling in the bathroom that had been painted over. Every day when we would leave our rooms there was trash piled high on the trash cans at the elevator. Some of the electrical outlets sparked when trying to plug my phone charger in so I just used the charger in the car. We had to pay $68 for parking. I will never stay here again.

View from the room was beautiful. Being in the top floor closing curtains wasn’t necessary so the view was 24/7 of that what you want. However the door was jamming and the bathroom was a bit small. The last and only complaint is, they need a new detergent because everything had an only washed in plain water vibe. Not even the industrial stuff lol. Otherwise it was great literally 50 step to the water from the steps, and despite the little quirks I’ll go back.
