Sugar Sands Beachfront Hotel, a By The Sea Resort

Our sinks were clogged. We called to get them fixed & no one came. The room above ours AC leaks onto our room. You have to rent chairs & umbrellas & there are no beach towels. The place could be painted to look a little better. There was also a raccoon that runs around during the day because people feed it. I told them about that too. There needs to be a sign saying not to feed them.

Beautiful view of the beach. Room needs updating a lot. Chairs on balcony need replacing. Door to balcony is hard to close. Last night we were there we found roaches crawling on floor and wall on the side of the room that my grandson slept on.. I don’t recommend it. Parking lot small but parking area across street also.

Would not recommend to stay here had to stay on 4th floor when reserved a groundfloorwalkout room for my aunt to get to beach but she couldn't elevators slow do not recommend this place tv issues frig not that cold or air conditioner

The staff were nice the beach view really nice ,the room its self was ok wasn't dirty the floor was ,had a small spider wipe it up the floor was bad have to keep shoes on.the elevator needs attention consistently not working i have artificial hips not happy climbing stairs,overall the price was decent for the ti.e of year, dont think I would stay again there are compatible hotels that are better ,

La vista hermosa ,tranquilo ,duermes bien y todo queda cerca restaurantes , cafes , tiendas . La playa a solos pasos . En agosto vuelvo. Recomendado.

Old and not well taken place. The personnel was helpful and responded positively, They found a better snd cleaner room for us. The location is outstanding.

The property location was 10/10, but shows signs of age. We are still trying to obtain a receipt for our stay as we were charged twice and attempting to get one charge reversed. Overall, great value for location but lackluster otherwise.

Great place to stay. I wished the air conditioner was colder.

The rooms were clean and adequate. Housekeeping did a very good job of keeping towels in rooms and keeping rooms clean. The outside of the property is dirty and not well maintained. Beach view and access was GREAT! There was no iron nor coffee pot in the room when we got there but the manager went above and beyond to get us one. Parking is very tight but there is a parking lot across the road.

The good stuff; The view was beautiful the beach access was convenient and all of the staff were nice and welcoming. All and all it wasn’t horrible but I probably wouldn’t stay there again for the price that I paid.

I was an older property that was in desperate need of updating. The bathroom tub needed to be reglazed and the fight I had on the second day with a roach still makes my skin crawl. I would not recommend at all.
