Perfect view! Great price

My husband and I here for our 11th wedding anniversary. First of all when we pulled up it was not giving “resort”. Check in was at 4pm and we had to wait on our room to get cleaned. We received our key card around 5:30pm. The balcony door did not lock, the beach view was nice, the front door had gaps on one side of it, you can literally see the daylight. The bathtub had a dark stain inside of it. And we killed to roaches inside the bathroom. There was not an iron, blow dryer or ironing board in the room. And (it clearly states that on the booking site)all of those items are available. I normally don’t write reviews but the roaches took me out!! We will not ever return!

Elevator was extremely slow. View was great.

I think if you are looking for a basic, economical place, then this will work for you. It is extremely close to the beach, and the pool was very clean. So that was a positive for the stay. I also believe their staff was friendly and helpful (they obviously don’t control any of the issues listed above).

The location of the.motel.is good and the view was nice, the facilities were adequate! Checked in on-line!, Need more handicap parking spaces, access to a luggage cart was difficult and another sitting chair would be nice for senior citizens!

It started out we got there early and was unable to check in which is OK but was told they would call us and never did. When I returned after 4 there were 3 other people there that was told the exact same thing but did not happen. When we got into the room it was very hot and had a foul odor. There was black mode noted on the ceilings. We were on the 1st floor and could walk directly outside and when we did there was broken glass just outside our room. We never saw staff to be able to tell them and did not have confidence in the front staff. We had to ensure we were shoes as there was glass everywhere. There were 4 of us in the room and we had to request towels at the front desk each time we had or needed to take a shower. I could go on and on with similar situations but the final straw was when I received a text to tell me I could not stay beyond my scheduled departure but I didn't even request to stay I had every intention to leave on time. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever utilize their facility again.

Beautiful views Check in was delayed by over an hour. Then they moved to a different room that we didn’t care for. Beds squeaked. No ice in ice machines or bagged ice to buy

I loved this place! Staff were super friendly and helpful! Clean rooms!

It had stuff for the grandkids to do and the pool was clean and they loved that ..their was bacteria in beach water so they played in pool and the small park at motel That we could not get in beach water but glad they told us about bacteria

Location and room Minor damages at room

Great ocean view and very clean. Staff was very responsive and quick to act. Rooms lacked space for clothing and area to store our bags. But balcony view made up for everything.

The proximity to the beach, the view and the location was amazing! This is about the 6th time staying here before and since hurricane Opal destroyed the original. Cleanliness was subpar... I know with SAND it's nearly impossible to keep it out but the hallways, and the elevator was always full of sand, wet and garbage was dropped around. Totally a guest issue but someone surveying the area more often would help. The seaweed was piling up on the beach and it was stinky.

There were roaches in the kitchen and bathroom..

The ease of access to the beach The ac was grinding the whole stay. Only got half the room cool the other side was unbearably uncomfortable. Tv speakers were blown. Ceiling paint was chipping off and some landed on me while showering. Very dusty vents. Dirty windows where you couldn’t really see clearly outside on an ocean view room. Beds were the worst part. You could feel the springs in them. Very thin. Worst sleep in a hotel ever. The kids even woke up saying their backs hurt. They are 13,15 years old. Other than the ease of access to the beach. I don’t recommend this place.

The room was small but intimate for myself and my husband. Very pleased because this was the 1st time on vacation without kids. The system deactivated our room keys 30 min before we were checking out. The young lady at the front desk was very nice in providing an apology and explaining what happened.
