The room and beds were clean, which set a good first impression. Unfortunately, a few maintenance issues made the stay disappointing. The blinds wouldn’t open correctly, the shower drained so slowly that water pooled around my feet, and the TV had visible lines across the screen. While I understand most people come for the beach, the price suggests a higher standard of upkeep. With a few fixes, this could be a much better stay.

Summary: Casa Loma is an overpriced, wore out hotel. We would have kept traveling if refund was available. Thankfully, we only reserved one night.

Location was great however the place needs a major remodel! That was not expected because of the price per night and the star rating. The stairs and walkways are a hazard. They are uneven. The room air conditioner was extremely loud. The old light fixtures flickered and the water pressure fluctuated.

The view was great, and the pool was nice just very unsatisfied with the room.

The group was frequently loud, disruptive, and inconsiderate of other guests. We also observed alcohol consumption in the pool area, as well as behavior and items that were not appropriate for a family-friendly environment. As a result, the atmosphere felt more like a party venue than a hotel intended for guests of all ages. Traveling with my 8-year-old son, we were unable to comfortably enjoy the pool or many of the hotel's amenities. While the property itself was satisfactory, the lack of management intervention to address the situation detracted considerably from our overall experience.

Because we was told we couldn’t get new sheets for our bed … our WiFi system was horrible… and the picture was nothing like they advertised.. the bed hard. And wanted charge 300 and something for extra night.. very unhappy

The pros: very convenient location, the view is spectacular, there is a gas station directly across the street, everyone (staff) we did encounter was friendly and helpful. One of the gentleman who work there even gave us some information on good places to eat in walking distance. And the price was reasonable for the location.

It has beautiful beach view the pool is also very nice but the room is very outdated we did find 2 roaches the first night the rooms are quite old as well. Our room would get very damp because of the bathroom when showering.

I liked the private beach. I didn't like how the TV in the room barely worked and I didn't like how the bath tub and tolit didn't want to drain and go out properly. I didn't like that the pool was down for almost 2 days and was closed

The room was somewhat clean and the bathroom is tiny. Parking was a pain in the butt! It was a good stopping point but I don't think I would like to stay more than the one night. There were no lights in the pool so swimming after dark - which it was very warm so it was a great swim night - but it seemed to put those swimming at risk due to not being able to see them on the surface or at the bottom. Beach view was beautiful and access was simple.

The staff was great the property was well maintained and the room was nice and clean.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Loma Inn. Our room was very nice. The pool and grounds were very nice and manicured. Staff was very helpful and understanding of our needs. My husband has a bad back and I have bad knees.I asked for a room on the parking level. With no other questions asked. Sophia was able get a room right in front of our parking space. In addition, Nick's slice of Brooklin Pizzeria & Bar is AMAZING!!! Its just right across the street from the Inn. We will for sure stay at Casa Loma Inn again!

Disgusting. Dirty sheets, blankets, floors. Found food in the safe. The mold was overwhelming. We had two rooms and one of the rooms the fire alarm chirped all night. The pool was closed. A complete waste of money.

We had an amazing time at Casa Loma at PCB. We loved the feel of the retro hotel with updated amenities. Love waking up to the sound of the ocean waves. For an older hotel, Casa Loma was very well maintained. From the rooms to the grounds, everything was nice and clean. We stayed in the kitchenette. We enjoy cooking while at the beach. The kitchenette was supplied with everything we needed to cook, except cookie sheets. Beds were very comfortable. We couldn’t hear neighbors through the walls. The views from the balcony were breath taking. The pool was very clean and well maintained. And we absolutely loved being only a few steps from the beautiful beach! We loved being able to rent chairs and an umbrella. That meant less packing for us! The only downfall (no blame on Casa Loma) was that we smelled more of the Devils Lettuce, from the balcony, on this trip than we have smelled in a lifetime.

There is no elevator, so you would need to ask for parking lot level room if needed. The pool and pool area are very nice. Pool water was the perfect temperature. Plenty of sun loungers and tables with chairs. Direct gated access to the beach. You can rent a beach umbrella and 2 lounge chairs for the entire day at a very reasonable rate. (They are set up for you) Overall, we had a great stay. We walked to several of the small restaurants that had excellent food. Very close to Pier Park and other shopping and entertainments.

Great beach Access

I liked the value and proximity to the beach. This is an older property that has tried to be updated. The pillows are tissue thin and the bathroom is unbelievably small.
