TownePlace Suites by Marriott Parkersburg

We forgot a couple things in the room and they threw them away.

Great spot in Parkersburg right downtown close to local family owned restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We were really impressed with everything. The staff, especially the young lady that checked us in and the young lady who made the breakfast. We had a wonderful stay. They recommended we go see the hilltop view and it was beautiful. I was an architect student when I first entered college and coming up to the building did not give us the impression that we found which is - one of the best stays in our two-week journey. We could have stayed for days!!!

Everything Nothing

Saturday was bagels and muffins.no hot food staff member was unable to come in. Sunday was awesome had waffles and croissant with egg delicious. She kept the place neat and well stocked on Sunday morning.

The bedding didn't seem fresh

We only had coffee.

I just loved the rooms

A one time thing but the vent in the shower ceiling was disgusting. Like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The shower controller was real confusing. The handle turns the water off in the up and down position so could never determine how to control the water temp. Main issue is the heating system. During the night when it came on sounded like a bus going by next to a highway except the sound goes on and on. I had to turn off the heat at night in order to be able to sleep.

Always had different fresh breakfast options daily rotating menu. Very clean rooms and public spaces. Staff was wonderful and very friendly, always happy to help in any way or just to small talk. Very personalble. Pool wasvery clean and always had fresh towles. Loved that you can borrow special cooking appliances as well as board games, card games, and bicycles to leaserly view the town. Very conveniently located. Very pet friendly cat and dogs. Made us feel extremely welcome and at home. Very cozy rooms and even have a laundry facility for use at resonable prices. Quiet and relaxing and beyond everything we expected. 10/10 will stay here again. Enjoyed every second of our trip

We were on a motorcycle trip with another couple. They let us park out front for convenience and security! The breakfast was very good both days. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

The staff were absolutely AMAZING. My daughter is high needs autistic, and they treated her with such kindness. She likes to run if I don't hold her hand, so while making her breakfast, one of the women asked us if she could make a waffle for her. The next day, another lady who worked there offered. Her happy stims were seen just as that... Happy stims. The room was very clean, pretty, and amazing for our stay! This is my second time staying in this hotel and if I ever head back up that way, I'll stay there again! Fully recommend! That my stay was so short.
