Elevator service is poor which did not bother me, I just used the stairs.

Breakfast was fresh

Seemed understaffed on 4th of July weekend. Only one clerk at checkin desk so there was a long wait. Also only one bartender/server in Grizzly’s restaurant during Happy Hour and dinner, causing long waits for food and drinks. Good breakfast included. No elevators in this two story complex so if you are mobility challenged, be sure to reserve a room on the first level.

Hotel is a little dated but looks like they are in the middle of a remodel. No elevator so make sure if you have mobility problems get a ground floor unit. Overall nice stay would recommend for the price.

Worst experience

The balcony had two old piles of dog waste that appeared to have been there for quite some time, with flies buzzing around them. It made the outdoor area unpleasant to use. Breakfast was just average. The bread, pastries, and pancakes were all very dry, and the tables in the breakfast area were not clean either. Overall, the room was roomy, but the cleanliness and breakfast experience left a lot to be desired.

Red Lion is clearly on the way out. It’s run down, filthy carpeted hallways, and very outdated. Our room was a county mile from entrance, but it was fine. Room itself was clean and adequate. Reception staff was curt and acted bothered by our arrival. Mumbled all the required spiels, but couldn’t wait for us to leave. The price was the lowest of the nearby airport rooms at $120. Airport transfer was good but again, filthy vehicle.

The carpet smells bad and the rooms are mazed. It is confusing. The room looks old too. I was not happy.

Nice breakfast.

Rooms were nice and clean. There was remodeling going on so there were rolls of carpet by the elevator. It would be nice if the pool opened earlier in the mornings. Breakfast was ok. Not a lot of options. Beds were comfy. Shower was nice. A little bit of mold in the shower towards the bottom. Overall we were pleased with accommodations.
