We stayed here to attend a wedding on Pawley’s Island. The room was perfect, the staff warm and accommodating, and the location near the beach and restaurants was ideal

Perfect location!! Great spacious layout - the condo was just very well loved. It definitely felt clean but the carpet and furnishing are getting a little threadbare. It’s great for the price.

Villa was not ready at 4pm check in. Moved down by staff to a one bedroom one bathroom from 2 bedroom 2 bathroom as villa two story not one story, no discount given. Reception unhelpful. Room was dirty, chairs on balcony unsafe. Neither tv was working. Ac filter thick with dirt. Black stuff coming from register. Furniture worn and dirty, foam exposed and filthy. Carpet worn and stained. Shower door would not close, taking a shower caused flooding in bathroom creating slip hazard. Mouse droppings on bedding. Checked out first thing on Monday morning. Staff refused to provide confirmation of departure. No communication between staff. Management contacted eventually, they did not seem to be aware that we had left. We did put in a request for maintenance, but none came. Major health issue in this room. We both experienced coughing and nausea. Terrible experience from start to finish. Refund was denied but later issued by Hotels.com - photographic evidence of issues was provided.

This place #90 at Pawleys Island Plantation was full of cockroaches . We had to find a new place to stay. Thank the Lord we checked it out before unloading anything. Nasty, disgusting.

The only 2 minor annoyances(?) were: 1. The King size bed seemed to be out-fitted with Queen size sheets and comforter, based on our experience owning a King bed at home. 2. The bathroom light over the vanity required multiple flips of the on/off switch each time to fully illuminate.

Relatively convenient location The advertisement makes it look like you are at a resort with lazy river etc. in reality you are at a golf resort with a small pool that your key may not unlock

This isn't a true resort. Its an amalgam of unleased condos over three miles from the beach. You have to drive everywhere and the owners of the condos treat you like second class citizens, a necessary irritation. The photos they show are NOT where you will be staying, The photos are of a resort within the Lichfield community that you cannot access - please read the fine print. Lazy river, big pool, playgrounds, all lies. Don't make the same mistake I did. They are unapologetic about it too. Some of the properties are 10 miles from the beach. I must have apologized to my wife and grandkids 50 times.

Went to flush the toilet and the water was not on. Turned water on in order to flush toilet and water was leaking everywhere. Had to call for maintenance. That was fixed. Then went to take a shower and, bathtub was not draining, standing in water past my ankles. Had to have maintenance come a second time. Not the most pleasant first night experience.

The electric carts taking resort residents to the beach was out of order, which enforced resort residents to either walk 17 minutes to the beach or drive their own cars. We requested to change the bathroom towels second day of our stay and we had to call three times and waited for 5 hours to get a new set of towels!!

I have stayed multiple times at Litchfield because of its location and amenities. However, the property is understaffed/overstretched for the summer season and the restaurant needs to be open for dinner on the nights it lists as being open.

Close to the beach and had a pool. No ADA. Requested a handicap room, when we arrived were informed they had none. Our room was the furthest from the elevator which was very difficult for my husband who suffered a stroke. When asked if we could change the clerk behind the desk laughed and said no, we are sold out.

Peaceful location Very outdated and dirty

Stay here for three nights between selling and buying houses. They actually were our home away from home. The fact that they had a full kitchen was phenomenal.
