We liked the pool We didn't like that we couldn't use the facilities that we went there for , also we requested room's next to each other and were given room's a mile from each other and told to walk. The staff offered no help and were very rude. The room was not what we paid for it was a smaller unit. The kitchen did not function properly and management did nothing to fix it. All of my requests to the facility were made in January so they had time to accommodate, but they told me I spoke to someone else even though they had the request in their computer notes. I would not go back

The good- the beach was amazing! We loved it so much and that would be the ONLY reason we ever came back. The beach was clean, lovely, but not overly crowded. The room/resort. First, it felt like a bate and switch. You see all the amazing pools and rooms. You think you will have access to them- nope! We got a sad little pool in comparison. If you go for the less expensive rooms (aka 250 and under a night) then you are relegated to outside the resort gates, no lovely inter sanctum for you! Well, ok, You do get a pass to visit the beach and park for free, which was nice (again the only good thing about our stay was the beach). I had to wait for an hour at check-in (not because we were early or late)- literally had to stand in a line for an hour. Then we were told our rooms were cleaned - that was a stretch. Food crumbs were left in the stove, the fridge had water spilled all over it (later we would figure out that it was because the fridge was dying), and our sheets were dirty. But no clean sheets would come when we requested. The dirty beds felt like a million children had jumped on them- you could feel the springs and the cries of all the mothers before to “please for the love of all that is good don’t jump on the bed”. You woke up feeling like a mule had kicked you and then dragged you down the beach. A chair broke under my son, literally just collapsed under him. And when we called about it? They ‘fixed’ the chair by screwing the leg in place again - leaving cloth scraps all over the floor- but it still was broken as the back of the chair was no longer stable. The fridge started to make a jackhammering sound at about 2am. It continued until 4am then was blissfully silent…and then started back up again. It would freeze your food and then go well above 50 degrees so food would thaw and start to spoil. It rained a lot while we were there- but that’s ok! The beach is still lovely in the rain. What isn’t pretty or ok? When a leak starts to happen above your beds!

The room comforter had a huge stain on it and the carpet was old and dirty. It advertised lazy river and amenities but they were at a total different location.

The breakfast was good and there were facilities I didn't expect such as an indoor pool and workout room for when we needed a break from the beach. They literally never cleaned our rooms in nine days, despite multiple requests -- I would have been happy with once or twice. It was gross and the staff were rude about it -- like the request was a hardship. The facilities themselves could use a good power wash as well, especially the staircases.

Great spot for a family vaca. Nice pool and great location close to Pawleys. We visit here often. Calm location. Nice staff and rooms

The amenities of several pools, outside and inside, plus beach access with minimal walking make this place excellent.

No amenities open before 10am. Which is absolutely WILD three small kids who wake up at 6:30/7am and we have to wait till 10to use the pool/splash pad and lazy river?? Also super poor design the playground is INSIDE the pool area so you cant use that either. Asked for towels because they gave us three for a family of FIVE, said their guy had already left and we needed to come to registration to get the very far walk to do that with an infant and two toddlers.

I didn’t get the room pictured on the booking or even the bed sizes I choose which was king, 2 doubles and a twin. Instead I got 4 double beds. Not the end of the world but my son and husband are 6 foot so it’s not the most comfortable to sleep with your feet hanging off the bed. The pool, lazy river and splash park looks run down and the pool had heavily chemicals.

The location is great and the access to the beach via shuttle on golf cart is helpful There were several issues with the room starting with the transition strip to the bathroom was ripped off, AC leaked in the room and all over my bags, the fridge did not work, half of the outlets in the room did not work, the TV was at best a cheap $20 TV with three remotes and no instructions on which one worked what, was locked out of the room before checkout time and had to call guest services to let us in to get our belongings before the checkout time, hostess and waitresses at the breakfast buffet (basic every hotel breakfast) were rude and overheard on several occasions talking about the patrons. Overall would not stay at this facility again.

Excellent location and space. Such an easy walk to the beach and the pool. It was difficult to keep everything from getting so sandy, but that is life at the beach. We had some issues with the TVs. The one in the bedroom did not work and the one in the living room periodically cut off and we had to wiggle wires to get it to turn back on. This was really only brought to our attention because it rained some and we had to stay indoors. We loved our stay and will be back!

Very good

The only negative for us was that the elevator wasn't working when we left so we had to carry luggage and coolers down 2 flights of stairs. Not easy for 65 year olds. But I don't believe that is a frequent occurrence.

The front staff were friendly. Wasn't provided what was listed on the booking. Had to sleep on the floor due to not enough beds or big enough bed. No beach access.
-
The place we stayed was decorated beautifully with beach charm. There was plenty of room and we had a big balcony. We were in walking distance from the pool and the ocean. The people are friendly and the food never fails to amaze me. Been here twice now.
-
Bait and switch, can’t believe a company like would allow a private property owner to market their property as a part of a resort when it is located 2 miles off property. Will not be booking through here anymore, ever.

We requested a refund and told we were approved but have not received our refund yet
