The Oceanfront Litchfield Inn

This is a nice place but our room had bed skirting that was nasty. The bathroom had a very small counter. We were on the second floor and there was barely any water pressure. It’s a great location and nice pool. The restaurant was really good but a little pricey. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very nice.

Parking was a problem. Non residents at the Inn were occupying parking spots. Golf carts parked behind resident's cars. Parking needs to be enforced and assigned.

We love going to Litchfield Inn. Service is great and you can’t beat the location.

Ideal location right on the ocean. Property is tired and overpriced for the quality of the room and furnishings. The staff are super friendly and so helpful.

The only minor suggestion I have would be to replace the glass door leading from the pool area into the room. It can be a little difficult to open, especially when you’re carrying towels or other items. That said, it was a very small issue and didn’t take away from our stay at all. The pool area is great, the beach is fantastic, and the restaurant and upstairs bar are wonderful additions that make this a perfect vacation spot. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.

My wife and I stopped in for a 2 night stay. It is a small quiet Inn. If you’re needing a place to stay and all you want is comfort and a friendly staff this is a great place to stay. It has clean pools, is on a great location of the beach with easy access to it. We did not try the onsite restaurant but did hear good things about it. The beaches were not crowded and everyone around us was there to just relax and enjoy their day. Would highly recommend the experience.

We had lunch and breakfast on site which was pretty good for the price.

Our first visit and we’ll definitely consider a return visit. Overall very nice for a middle aged couple escaping their teenagers! 😆

Clean room. Great ocean view.

Very old AC way too loud for decent sleep on and off all night. Not once in your days was our room cleaned etc. had to request more toilet roll as only one partially used one in room on arrival. Shocking lack of service.

The queen bed was terrible. I could feel the springs through the top of the mattress on my back. Two hours late letting us check in

Our room smelled musty and damp Our clothes, blankets and our bed etc were always wet feeling and smelled. We had to clean all of our clothes even ones that we did not wear.

Our room, especially the bathroom, need. updated/painted. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Have been staying at this Inn since the 1960’s! Breakfast was the only meal we ate there, but the food was plentiful and delicious.

The Litchfield Inn is a beautiful spot to stay, whether you're coming from another state or just down the road. Easy access to the beach, great restaurants and comfortable rooms give you all you need to rest and relax.

It’s right on a long stretch of beach in a cute enclave and close to shopping and dining. The hotel has a restaurant that I frequented during my stay. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I liked the property but the air conditioner was no match for the humidity. My room was cool but a bit damp.
