Cleanliness, size of room, friendliness of staff and breakfast buffet and availability of coffee and evening cookies. Probably should update internet description as we were disappointed that there was no hot tub. One of the reasons we made this choice was the hot tub availability to help with relief of back discomfort.

Bkfst was good. The hotel was clean. 3 miles from Riverchase Galleria. Lot of eateries around hotel The beds were not comfy, made your back hurt. The front desk staff were not friendly. The room is outdated. Hotel needs to be renovated.

Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. All the things I want went stopping to rest overnight.

Overall, we enjoyed our overnight stay at Fairfield, and we would stay there again. The hotel sits far enough off the road to reduce the road noise from two busy highways. However, the driveway is a little hard to find because it is between so many businesses. The hotel was very clean, but our room did have a slight smell of smoke. The hotel is nicely kept, but the hallway on the third floor was extremely hot. I am not sure the air was working in the corridors. The staff was very friendly, especially the front desk check-in clerk and the breakfast hostess; one of the cleaning staff on my floor was a little less friendly. She was blocking the hall, and it almost seemed like it was an inconvenience to have to move over for us to pass her cart. We picked the hotel for its location, and it was ideal for the activities we did while in Pelham.

The staff was very nice and willing to assist with any of my needs. I liked it so much I stayed an extra night. I would stay at the Fairfield again.
