Candlewood Suites Perry-National Fairground Area by IHG

Superb

We had a great stay at Candlewood Suites in Perry! We were just passing through and only stayed one night, but it was perfect. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable and my husband said the shower was great, too. I don’t think the hotel was full, but we didn’t hear noise from any neighbors, or anything else for that matter. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice. This is not a super large hotel, which I liked. Really easy to navigate and plenty of space to walk your dog. I’d say the worst thing about the place was the lack of signage from the main road made finding it a bit of a challenge. It looks like you’re hitting a dead end, but then suddenly the hotel is right there. GPS took us right to it.

UNBELIEVABLY NOISY! If you stay here, you’d better stay on the side AWAY from the interstate.

Great staff

The staff at this hotel were immensely helpful! The rooms are very clean and the bed was really really comfortable. This is a no nonsense hotel. Other Candlewood suites that I have stayed at were about the same price and offered a full breakfast. Be aware that this one doesn’t. Not even a continental breakfast. Not even a little brown bag with a granola bar and an apple. They do offer a drink station for a hot cocoa and tea and coffee and that is all. It is a clean, no nonsense hotel that will be a good safe place to sleep.

It was clean I called the day before and was going to make sure that someone would be at the front desk since i was going to arrive late, and the woman on the phone started asking for me info. I inquired about why she need it and she stated to sign me up for a membership, I informed her I did not want one. The morning after my night of stay when we were getting ready to check out I received 2 emails back to back thanking me for signing up. I was so upset, when I went to the front to check out I asked about it and the front desk employee was so rude stating the system did it and she couldn’t do anything about it and to call corporate. I will be doing that because I did not give consent to sign up with my info for any membership free or not

Superb

Great

very clean, staff was very nice. We were traveling with a pet and they could not have been more welcoming. Very small fee for the pet.

Very clean rooms! Had plenty of towels and the kitchenette was well stocked also.

I don't understand why handicap rooms are often placed so far from the elevator. Walking is painful for me, so that would be my only complaint.

Clean rooms. Lots of space in the suite with good size refrigerator/ freezer Ask for an odd numbered room. They are on the side away from the freeway- quieter

New. Good shower. Clean nice bed Freeway noise. I was on side facing I-75
