Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak

There was nothing at all to like. They never let me know my room was ready , when they said they would finally ready at 5pm. Was suppose to have room next to my daughter ! They told us we were next to each other both on ground level. She was on the second floor, so that’s why they didn’t let me know my room was ready because that girl went home! That was so horrible and deceiving. No sheets or blankets in the room for fold out couch! They ran out of beer at the bar. They closed down the water park early on the hottest day of the year. Said they didn’t have the employees to cover it. Water station at the park was always empty and when they finally filled the water they didn’t refill the cups. So there was nothing to put the water in. When we complained they said they were doing the best they can. The entire place is under construction but was never disclosed when we made our reservation. Kitchen closed!! Spa closed early , at 7. This place needs to shut down it is terrible, I have come here many times it was getting bad but this stay took the cake. I brought my family here for a family weekend and they couldn’t even put our rooms near each other!! I will never go back to the hell hole!!!

Realicé mi reservación con tres días de anticipación, pagué por adelantado cuatro noches y recibí un número de confirmación de la propia compañía. Organicé mi viaje y mi hospedaje con mi familia confiando en que la reservación estaba correctamente confirmada. Sin embargo, al llegar al hotel, después de un viaje y con mi familia, me informaron que no existía ninguna reservación a mi nombre, a pesar de que les mostré el número de confirmación, los comprobantes de pago y toda la información correspondiente. Como consecuencia de la falta de organización y coordinación de su sistema de reservas, tuve que pagar de mi propio bolsillo otra habitación esa misma noche para poder tener dónde alojarnos. La situación empeoró al día siguiente, ya que el hotel tampoco contaba con el tipo de habitación que necesitábamos, por lo que me vi obligado a buscar y pagar hospedaje en otro hotel. Es decir, terminé pagando de mi bolsillo por una situación que fue ocasionada completamente por una falla en su servicio de reservas. Lo más decepcionante es que, después de todo esto, todavía no me han dado una solución ni me han confirmado la devolución del dinero que pagué por adelantado. Únicamente me dicen que están “evaluando la situación” para determinar si procede el reembolso. ¿Después de cobrar por una reservación confirmada, no respetarla, obligarme a pagar nuevamente por hospedaje y ocasionarme todos estos inconvenientes?

The room was nice and comfortable but it was left dirty. The refrigerator looked as if something had been spilled and not wiped up. I was able to clean it with my Lysol wipes. Also, there was an issue that we were not informed about that there was no water for several hours. This created an issue as we couldn’t shower before we left for an event. It was a major inconvenience. Due to this, it is likely that we will not stay there in the future.

Clean room great staff, excellent amenities. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Decided to book a staycation for the family before school started. Started out great as they were able to let us check in early. However, when the front desk manager told me, I did not choose the free breakfast option. I was a little confused because I thought I had. So I accepted that and went and found the email showing him that I chose free breakfast and at that time he let me know there is no free breakfast option only a credit that didn’t cover the complete cost of breakfast for the four of us. You are definitely better off choosing the option that does not include breakfast. The pools could have better hours as they close early. They had a sign up for the slide stating to ask an employee to open. My kids asked and they said no that’s incorrect and doesn’t open until 11am. Just some small things that could be changed to make a better experience for guests. It’s a beautiful facility and very clean.

Lots of construction, very noisy. Our door was in poor repair had to push it really hard to open and close it.

The water park was clean and as expected. But the water was so incredibly warm that you could only swim in the main pool. On the Friday we were there a large group of teens checked in and overtook the pool area. That was quite frustrating. I may have to look for a different hotel in the future.

They were very accommodating

Hotels should let people know when they are under renovation and what amenities are unavailable before hand. When I choose a place the amenities advertised are a major factor. Our room was dusty and floors were dirty. The elevator felt like an oven…no a/c. Our view was a construction site snd the restaurants were closed. Other than that..the staff was very friendly and helpful. The service at the water park was excellent. I don’t mind paying a premium price…but I expect a premium product. Most likely won’t come back.

Would have been nice to know there was construction going on. Went to relax but the construction was so loud and the bar lady was not very nice. Went to get dinner and she just continued to walk pass us and the. Another couple came and they got drinks and food before we were even talked to. Not sure if I would stay again. When I mentioned that the construction should have been on the hotel and they said the management doesn’t want to but it should be.

Beyond that we had a two bedroom suite that not one time that somebody tried to clean we never got the blankets and sheets that were requested for the rollout bed. I don’t know for the amount of money that you spend my experience was definitely negative and something I don’t think that Hilton would really want, but it’s definitely what happened.

I used the texting/Claudia helper and had a couple questions that were answered right away. There’s food and shopping super close but it’s also easy to have food delivered if needed. Loved staying here for a birthday staycation and will definitely be back!
