Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak

Maps were given which showed pools that did not exist on property. Broken items all over the property. It was not our first time here but by far the worse experience ever here.

I did not like the water park hours. The only reason families stay there in the summer time is for the water park it closed at 7pm. There is also no shade over any of the pools, lazy river or slide waiting area. The drinks inside the water park were also way over priced $18 for a small maybe 10oz frozen margarita is insane. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel staff for the most part was good.

Other than that, I thought the facility and staff was absolutely wonderful.

There was no restaurant, No one ever cleaned our room for 3 nights, there were open wiring everywhere around the lazy river, closed the bar at the pool at 5pm and rhat was the only bar that could make frozen drinks, they had 2 bars, breakfast was at the other bar with little seating so we were asked to move down so they could fit a family of 4. I have stayed at numerous Hiltons over the years and this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It was our 10th anniversary that was ruined

Pool is great just gets really busy in the afternoon

Lobby staff at check in were welcoming, courteous, and kind. Our room was clean and fresh upon arrival. Unfortunately, a lot of construction and remodeling made for a messy appearance and we encountered quite a bit of dislikes at the park. It’s Summer time, in Arizona. Closing the pool at 8pm was disappointing, we definitely felt shorted with the opportunity to enjoy, even with returning in the morning. Towels were not available when we arrived during the evening, the stand was closed, even though it was still an hour before closing, Staff seemed eager to remind us they were closing in an hour. Bathrooms nearest to the toddler pool were closed, slide was closed both times we were there. Hotel checked us out at 8:30am when we were just waking up, I received the receipt so that’s how I know. I called guest services and they said it was fine, to disregard… we had a sweet housekeeper knocking 30 mins later thinking we had checked out because their system said we did. The golf course by the lazy River had trash everywhere, kids were also swimming unattended in the lazy River even though we’re told not to, causing others to tip over or bumping into the those around them. There truly seemed to be a lack of organization with staff, quick to tell us they’re closing, but never bothered to be mindful of safety or courteous of others.

Kids loved the water park, lots to do and see around the area too.

The room looked like it would be really nice. The bed was comfortable and the campus was fine, too. When we sat down in our room we were able to see that the floor was VERY dirty with giant hair piles and tinsel, dried something’s on the wall, and the shower had scum all over the floor and the walls. The outdoor pool was fun but it too is covered with scum around the tiles. Regardless of the dirty parts, we enjoyed the staff that we interacted with and my kids did like the pool.

Staff was rude and short. Recommend staying at tapatio until construction completed.

Everything was great, but the door to the room did not close and lock properly.

I stayed at Hilton at the Peak in Phx. Most of the staff that I encountered was rude. This did not feel like a Hilton experience. I cut my vacation short and left a day early.

The entire state is just like it was when I was a kid. It’s fun. The room is very clean and organized and I had a great birthday.

The hotel was not great at enforcing quiet hours. Both nights of our stay there were kids in the courtyard playing games and screaming and having fun at 11:00 pm which would be fine if it wasn’t right outside our room. I would recommend the hotel as a fun place to stay for the day as the water park was fun and recommend requesting a room far from the courtyards and just be aware of the construction that’s currently ongoing.

Pool closed earlier than we expected. It's still hot at 7pm. Part of the hotel appears to be going through renovation.. but it wasnt loud.

It was a great stay the water park is a great addition. Queen beds are nice and comfortable. Area is safe to walk around at night, more concerned for wildlife since resort is next to a mountain

Who closes the pool at 7 in summer???
