The poperty was in a great place for traveling. The room was clean and staff were professional. My disappointment was in the room. I guess at some point the air system and they put the floor model air conditioners in the room that vent through the window. That is not an issue with me, is it how it was vent. Just little pieces of duct tape holding it to the window which still allowed the access heat in the room that we had on the 4th floor.

I made a mistake on the dates, went right back in and corrected them. When I contacted them they said they would try to get ahold of the hotel for a refund, doubletree refused to refund my money. The mistake was because a link that was sent to me for a tournament that had the wrong dates. I would understand if days or weeks had passed but I literally corrected it five minutes later. I’m a Hilton Gold member, not anymore. I’m canceling my credit card and sticking with Mariott.

We ended up having to extend our stay an additional 2 nights, the staff was so accommodating. Breakfast at the restaurant was great. Clean rooms, beautiful lobby, great location.

Difficulty getting the room cleaned or serviced.
-
The property staff over promises and under delivers. The team lacks training, guest service, and follow through from both front desk staff to front desk management. Hilton Double Tree located in Pikesville, Maryland poor guest satisfaction and service follow through. 6.8 Rating☆

Make sure you ask for housekeeping service or you won't get it. We had to ask every day for towels. We were there for six days.

I know they are going through renovations , I felt like they used that as an excuse. Our TV was tinted blue and they said "our new ones didn't come in" ....didn't even offer money back or anything.

The water pitcher at the lobby needs to be refilled more often.

Nothing honestly. Everything- The tv had to be swapped bc it wasn’t working. The lights didn’t work when we arrived and above everything else the room had NO air conditioning and wasn’t fixed until our last night around 10pm and didn’t start working and cooling off until around midnight. It was between 74-76 the WHOLE TIME and we had a box fan. No option to change rooms bc they were full.

fridge stopped working on the last day of the stay.

Tried to check in at 6pm. Noticed the lobby had 8-10 people sitting around with luggage waiting which seemed odd. Well come to find out when I went to check in they did not have my room available yet. Said they did not have a room ready with 2 queen beds. Something about it not being clean yet. And that's what all these other people were doing waiting. He had a list with 6 other people on a scrape piece of paper, then added my name to it. I told him to call me when it was available and gave him my cell phone number. I wasn't going t just wait in the lobby. So I went to eat with my son, came back at 9pm and my name and number were still on that piece of paper. I asked if my room was ready and it was now at 9pm. I asked why he didn't call me and got no reason. He asked if I needed the room cleaned while staying I said just clean towels would be good. Next day left my dirty towels on the floor (standard practice) came home after a long day of Lacrosse and found my dirty towels still on the ground. Had to go to the lobby and request clean towels. Not the end of the world but why ask me if I need service and then deliver none? Room was clean, water pressure in shower was half of what it should have been because the diverter didn't work. Was offered nothing by the staff for my inconvenience. How is that normal to check in at 9PM??

The hotel was just ok…This worst was Hotels. Com putting me in the handicap room on the first floor where the people above me walked, stomped and jumped all night because of a wedding party and men smoking and talking outside my window keeping me awake all night…instead of letting me know there was no more rooms and not answering the phone when I called (I was on put on hold for 2 hours and no one came back to the phone… and when the hotel called no one answered) Hotel.com is the worst piece of 💩 crap on this earth and I can not understand why The Hilton has anything to do with it…so bad for their business. I Will Never use Hotel.com again and it’s up in the air right now as to if I will ever stay a the Hilton Properties again because of Hotels.com. I have been staying at The Hilton since the 1990s… So sad 😞 they are connected with Hotels.com😵💫
