Hotel Alice At Atlantic Beach

The room smelled musty and gave me headaches. Housing keeping did not service my room and shower was out of body wash. This is not on the beach but across the street. Bed were not comfortable. TV remote and luggage rack were broken. Restaurant only served breakfast. I was there for business did not have time to use their bikes but they looked rusted wish I knew in advance about daily resort fee in Hotels.com price I would have chose a different hotel and will not be returning.

Both beds had lots of sand and at 11 pm at night I’m not moving rooms. The lady who checked us in was very helpful. The bartender did not show up for work , the morning receptionist at the desk was caring at all about the room condition . I was traveling with an handicap child. That’s why I like to stay there.

The hotel was clean enough but the room they gave us was over the roof of the entrance so no view at all. We had a board that was coming up off floor and my friend tripped over it and almost fell. Bathroom very small and looked very old. I would not stay there again.

My 81 year old sister and I enjoyed our stay there. Bar and food at there bistro was enjoyable. There was no maid service during our stay (weekend) but we made due. Front desk provided any items needed. Will consider staying there again.

This was the first time staying at Hotel Atlantic Beach. The front desk staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. They checked us in quickly and easily, as well as sharing suggestions for great places to eat. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. There is a lot of pride of ownership here. It’s an awesome hotel.

Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that was already occupied by another guest, which was obviously an unpleasant experience. Fortunately, the staff quickly addressed the issue and reassigned us to an available room. The elevators seem to be in need of some maintenance or modernization. The room itself had a few cleanliness issues, including some visible stains. However, it was spacious, comfortable, smelled fresh, and overall provided a pleasant stay. Despite a few inconveniences, the hotel's excellent location and useful amenities made for a positive overall experience.

Property is clean but needs some TLC. They advertise ocean view but the 5 story condos block that. The staff, that's another story. We checked in at 5 o'clock. Found out right away the coffee maker didn't work. Went to front desk and was told one would be brought up right away. At 7:30 no coffee maker. Went back down and a different person was at the desk. Got the same response, will bring on up right away. Bed time no coffee maker. 7:30 next morning took the broken coffee maker down and put it on the desk . Told her what happened. She went in the back room and brought out a new coffee maker. Now was that sohard. The sad part is I didn't even get a sorry for the inconvenience. Just a see if this one works. Sad PR.

Although not beach front, short walk to the water. Older hotel, carpeted hallways, smells older. Kept clean. No resturant on site, food heated and served. Dog friendly! Staff great! Rooms are a bit dated, paint cracking, baseboards falling off, hair in clean bedsheets and towels (maybe from cleaning staff?). Overall if looking for a comfortable, dog friendly hotel stay we will return to give it another try.

This property was overpriced, considering it’s not directly on the beach. The staff was friendly, however, no one discussed the hotels amenities with us. We had an awful view of two HVAC units. Our AC unit was not working properly in our room. We were provided a small portable unit an we were unable to turn off the large unit. Unfortunately, I don’t think I could in good faith recommend this property to others.

I just want to be constructive with my review. I was at this property for four nights. In that time the room was not serviced by housekeeping one time in those four days. On the one day a bunch of other rooms were all being clean but when they were cleaned a lot of the dirt was swept out into the hallway and it stayed that way for more than a day. Also most times that we would go by the desk, no one was there. The room itself was fine. I know it's off season, but I just think it could have been better.

Rooms are very nice. Do not expect to get ocean view when you book . You may or may not get ocean view upon check in. We checked in and found out that they gave our room to someone else. After walking in to a room that was occupied,we were put in a dirty room. We had to move and were told they do not guarantee ocean front.

Everything/Everyone was great, just wish they had had a breakfast option.

We had a great view of the golf course. The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was bigger than I expected and I’m glad it was. We do plan to stay there again!

Room was clean, issue with first room and we were moved . Housekeeping needs to be requested which is kind of an inconvenience. Staff was excellent, good location.

This is a nice seaside hotel - the ocean a short 5 minute walk across the street. We enjoyed the theater room with the large screen TV. Tho it seems the hotel is run by young staff, they were attentive and helpful. The two things we found sketchy was the $15 “resort fee” and the fact that there is no security on the premise, with anyone from the outside able to enter the hotel and elevators to the rooms. We were disappointed to find no breakfast available to us on Sunday due to off season. Overall it was a nice stay and we would recommend.
