The only thing was they’re doing some renovations but that’s expected I guess at least they’re making improvements on the property but it was a good stay

Great front desk staff! The room was great. The hotel is undergoing a facelift so if you look past that it was a great place to stay. There was a bit of an odor in the room. The hallways smelled like old cigarettes. But, I have hopes that the renovation will take care of that. Not sure if there are smoking rooms there.

The staff was pleasant, the lobby renovation was nice, the pool was clean, and the grounds were well maintained. So look this place is in the middle of a MAJOR remodel and with that you think they would pay close attention to thing that need fixing so when a room has been "renovated" you wouldn't find mold in the bathroom (which we did), you wouldn't find water damage in the ceiling (which we did), the popcorn ceiling (can't believe they chose to do that) was falling down, there was paint splatter everywhere and the layout of the "best room" in the hotle made no sense, the "living room was a single sofa where you couldnt see the TV, there wasn't a coffee table it was dead useless space. There's been not attention to detail on anything and the "new" mattresses they put in way way too soft. For the money, I didn't expect much, but the Wyndom brand suggested we should expect much more than what we got.

Our room reeked of chlorine, or some similar chemical. They clearly knew it because they left the window open to air it out. That was a really weird greeting to the room. This place was super sketchy. We chose this place because of the price point. I would happily pay another $100 to stay somewhere else next time. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The staff was nice. The bathroom shower handle was so dirty, and the dirt seemed really old. The doors’ paint was all chipped away, the smell from the drain pipes was of sulfur/rotten eggs.
