Sonesta Select Pleasant Hill

For the first time in nearly 10 years at this Sonesta Select I was charged an early check in fee. If a room is unavailable, just tell me to wait. If it’s available, which it was, why charge me extra. I will seek elsewhere next time.

Side note the breakfast area is under renovation so no breakfast is available on site currently.

Good shower, water pressure and temperature. Fantastic walkability to shops and excellent dining! Try Zachary's Pizza! Front desk staff did not greet or look at me at check in.

ITS WELL KEPT THE STAFF AND THE MANAGER ARE EASY TO TALK TO AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE BATHROOM AND SHOWER AREA LOOKS UPDATED WITH NEWER FIXTURES AND TRAVERTINE STYLE TILES THE SHOWER DOORS ARE THICK GLASS ON SLIDING TRACKS AND LOOK LIKE THEY SHOULD BE IN A WELL BUILT HOME NOT A HOTEL NICE TOUCH AS ITS MORE PLEASANT... The room was not the one I reserved.

This place is nice and near everything. Helpful staff and amenities. You can’t ask for more.

Rooms very clean and comfortable for a family of 4. Easy parking on site. Staff friendly and helpful.

The lack of coffee available anywhere in lobby was inexcusable. The coffee in my room was not replaced for second day. I also had trouble understanding how to use the shower valves I appreciate the automated lighting when I got up at night . I thought the snacks in lobby too limited for no morning breakfast. I thought having more information available in print for morning breakfast available within walking distance would have been helpful. Since I recommended this hotel to several family members it was embarrassing to have no prior information on construction cancellation of coffee and breakfast in lobby

The area is a bit sketchy - and a lot of the other guests looked a bit sketchy. Decent value if you just need a place to sleep.

One of the best stays ever, clean and the room was well maintained and the view, absolutely perfect, only suggestion; for the wash machines please allow increments instead of $10 only amounts! Other than that, best stay and reasonable price, I’ll be back soon! Thank you again

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The area is quiet and there’s lots of convenient shopping locations nearby (grocery, Target, etc.). No problem finding a parking spot when we came back to the room late.

Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. Next time, I'd probably choose a room with a balcony for the added fresh air and outdoor space.

Staff was nonexistent.

Good business room with necessary amenities, tech plugs, and mini fridge for my one-night stay. I didn't see an in-room safe, but I didn't ask about it. Also, the bar area called "The Commons" was temporarily closed for some type of renovation.

Amazing stay!

The room overall was clean, but the shower was clogged, so i simply took a short shower, and skipped showering the next day(as i had a 2 night stay). Although there was a nice balcony, it simply looked out over a main street that was heavy in traffic and the highway next to it. I wasn't impressed and had to use ear plugs at night. But the staff were nice, and parking was easy to find.
