Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach

The front desk lady had bad attitude when I check out and told her. I've been referring two group friends to stay here in the past. I had bad experience this time unfortunately.

The property was located just a few minutes from the beach. Also nearby were a few restaurants and places to do light shopping. The property was clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Housekeeping is every other day. They're under construction, so construction materials are around. Only one elevator was operational, and it was slow. The coffee was not good. The room was basic and boring. I liked the pillows.

Hotel property was well-maintained and workers were on scene renovating the building and rooms floor-by-floor. I would stay here again! Gotta pay for hotel parking, but it's reasonable because you can't park in the streets. Thanks.

I was recently a guest and I left an extremely expensive suit and custom shirt in my room. These items were in expensive garment protector bags. House keeping recovered the items but crammed everything into one garment protector bag with the suit. This is a cardinal sin for custom and bespoke garments and it crushed all the garments together. These are highly expensive fabrics and they became crushed and wrinkled. What's worse, there were cerebral pocket squares and pieces of gold jewelry inside the front breast pocket of the primary garment bag containing my suit. My jewelry and pocket squares were stolen! I had to drive all the way back from Tampa to Fort Lauderdale to the hotel to get the suit and shirt back but the jewelry and other items were missing. There was a pair of gold cufflinks, a gold signet ring, and a gold collar bar. They are also several pocket squares in the same bag which cost $100 a piece. I easily lost $1,000 of gold jewelry and expensive silk pocket squares. I was extremely thorough checking all of the garment bags, suit pockets and the rest of my luggage. I travel frequently and so I have a ritual of putting the jewelry in the pocket squares and putting it inside of a ziplock bag and putting that bag in the front breast pocket of my soup garment bag. I do this every time I take a trip without fail and I have never misplaced or forgotten it. These items accompany my suit and are required to be worn with that suit. Therefore I keep them with the suit

This was a great hotel with very nice amenities. It was less expensive than others but further from the cruise port. Had free parking and a great breakfast. Would stay here again.

Other than the 2 things above, the stay was great. Staff were very polite. The maid did an excellent job the one day we had our rooms cleaned. The breakfast was good and the ladies who are tending to it kept things filled and spotless. Overall a great stay! Ty!

The breakfast and comfy pillows Upon check in I was told that I would not receive room service because im there just 2 nights. I left my open suit case on the bed Saturday morning, come back to find room service cleaned the room and 3 pair of brand new VS underwear was missing. I asked the front desk why was someone in my room when I was told that no one would clean it and I had 3 missing items. They told me to call the police to make a report on the housekeeper which was Haitian. So instead of accommodating me some type of was they rather for me to travel 4 hours back to court to persuade charges on someone who you instructed to clean my room, which has not should have been so. Then he told me if I did not want someone in my room I should have put a do not disturb sign on the door so no one will enter. Why would someone be in my room after I was told that I would not receive housekeeping and proceeded to do so without my consent. On top of that i woke up to a declined transaction because no money was in that account of on June 21, 2026 for $90.97 AGAIN after I $190.97 3 hours alone arrival, $10 a night for parking, and then another $312.32. The guy at the front desk stated that something was not paid so don’t worry about it When I went to check out I told the guy who was rude, argumentative, and if I did not like it call the bank and dispute the charges cause they not doing anything. I called booking customer service and spoke with someone about this situation, they stated that they was calling the hotel and they will call me back because the hotel was not suppose to do that, they need to take accountability of the actions that took place without me having to press charges on someone that they put on their list of rooms to clean, they went upon their instructions. My privacy was violated, and unauthorized charges was attempted to be made.
