Be careful when booking this property they run a scam at the front desk where they take your credit card and tell you they’re gonna charge you for incidentals what they really do is use it to charge your resort fee and also a parking fee people that use third-party booking agencies, Expedia, etc. be extremely careful because many times Expedia will absorb the cost of those fees in your total bill and this property likes to double charge you for that also the villas are moldy and stale and the general staff are just kind of low rent. People with lousy attitudes definitely not high-end service.

Construction going on upstairs in afternoon and morning. We have been staying here for over 20 years and this was first bad and bad was an understatement…. We will explore new staycation options

Had a problem with the shower and we were immediately given another room.
-
The bars, pools, and the shuttle to Cabana was excellent. Enjoyed our stay.

The property is overall nice. I stayed in the villas this time. The 1st one assigned to me had a stale smell. I contacted the front desk, and they gave me another one right away.
-
The first room we were assigned was not in the main building and had a very strong, unpleasant odor. Even after moving to the main building, the property felt so dated that we could clearly hear the sewer and plumbing sounds from the upstairs bathroom. Given the high nightly rates, the value just isn’t there—especially since the resort has no official partnership or special access relationship with the TPC Sawgrass golf course.

Spectacular property!

The grounds on this property were beautiful, as they should be, home to such a prestigious golf course. The amenities and rooms however, were lack luster and VERY dated. To be clear, I was put in the Villas. When I hear Villas, I immediately think luxury well, this room was anything but that. The television didn't work. I requested a King bed and got two full beds. There were a few dead spiders in one of the beds when I checked for bugs. I didn't complain, just used my room as a place to sleep while I was there for a work trip. My final night, I was awoken at 4am by water dripping on me from the ceiling. Half asleep I move over to the next bed and lay there continuing to hear the dripping. I called the front desk and they ended up sending maintenance to check it out. The room upstairs was empty, so this was a pre-existing leak that was never properly sealed. At 5am I was removed from my room where I spent the next 2.5 hours in the lobby. For such a prestigious resort, I was HIGHLY disappointed.

Resort is clean and nice, but has some funky smells in key areas around the resort (main entrance/ice machines/ elevators). Some basic air freshening devices would go a long ways.

The room was nicely updated and spacious. The grounds were beautiful. The food at the pub was very good and staff was friendly.

-
Definitely not worth the money
-
Villas are old with no extras in bathroom. No water in fridge & staff never responded.
-
Excellent resort if a little expensive
-
Older property the Villas wore not well maintained
-
Hotel didn’t provide slippers, smelly bathroom. Big No to this so called resort

This hotel feels antiquated across the board—rooms, amenities, and service all leave much to be desired. For the rate we paid, exceeding $600 USD a night, we could have easily secured superior accommodations and service at a more modest establishment. The phone lines were out of order, making it impossible to reach the front desk or housekeeping, and the bathrooms had unpleasant odors. When we ordered breakfast, it arrived in paper bags with flimsy plastic cutlery. I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

It was very clean and well run. Because of limited mobility I found it hard to navigate the distance between our room and the lobby and restaurants.
