The carpet was musty smelling in room. Pool out of order. Elevator is super slow.

The staff were very professional and helpful in all areas of the hotel. The only issue that I experienced was with the outdated carpet had a old smell and the pool was closed.

I remember when Hamton Inn was a sure-bet for cost-effective option for a short stay. It was a classier place than most found randomly off of I-95. But Hampton Inn has lost a bit of its luster in recent days. First, our room was not ready. This was a minor inconvenience and the woman at the front desk was very sweet and apologetic. But when we finally did get into our room, the smell was terrible. I don't know what the cleaning agents were that they were using, but the smell was objectively bad for about 2 hours after we entered the room. More importantly, we booked the hotel at least in part to swim in the pool on the one night we stayed. Unfortunately the pool was covered in a layer of scum and was closed, perhaps condemned. The rear door of the hotel was covered with a piece of plywood, with broken glass shards along its frame. Looked like it might have recently had police tape surrounding it. But breakfast was good. I will again emphasize that the staff were great. All of them were pleasant and attentive. We slept well and were on our way. So, not a nightmare, but hardly worth the money we paid for 2 rooms.

Natalie was awesome. A true Southern đź””. She was very nice. Now the room appeared to be a room that was under construction. Was not of the cleanest nor straighten up. The couch was dusty and covered with what looked like paint or construction like dust. The carpets were stained and not cleaned well. The bathroom had floor tile installed in shower which causes a slippery entry and exit. And the caulking was not even done to the point where it was literally falling out. Then to top it off the exit door to the hotel was shattered and had a big hole in it on a very rainy night. So we did feel unsafe in a room at the very end of the hallway. The breakfast was a 2/3 out of 5. Checkout was easy.

The first floor hallway carpet could use a refreshing. Nice pool area but unfortunately pool was closed.
-
Pool was closed. No blow dryer in the room. Body wash was out.

Not up to typical Hampton Inn standards: air conditioning leaked and carpet was wet 3 feet out from unit, paneling peeling from bathroom door, ceiling fan dirty and squeaked loud enough it had to be turned off, a couch dumped on property in parking lot and at dumpster both. In the late evening glass entrance door at side of hotel (beside our room) busted out and TV streaming knocked out, but that may have been lightening strike.

Don’t stay here the pool in not open!
-
Pool was not working rooms could be undated bathroom stains in toilet and tub
-
Its Green and nasty! Literally all the carpet throughout the hotel needs to be replaced as well. All in all the hotel isn't being taken care of.
-
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was standard. We felt safe. They cleaned the room everyday which was wonderful. We will stay here again when our travels finds us back in Georgia again.
-
The Health Department had closed down the pool. There was a sign on the door.

Now for the bad: The property is obviously old and in need of updating. The pool was green with algae and obviously closed. The hallway carpet is worn out and creased. The inside of the bathroom door looks likes it is rotting and delaminating. The sofa in the room was very well worn and looked like it needed a good cleaning. I have literally stayed at 100+ Hampton Inns over the past several decades and this one definitely is worn out. I always chose them, because they were consistently up to date and clean. Time for Hilton to invest in an update or sell of the property!

Pleasant staff, good location. Outdated but great value. Pool still out of order
-
Overall, great for a short stay.
-
The pool had been shut down by the county and it was not revealed before I made my reservations. It did not just happen. Further TV programming was very limited digitally. Three days and no poolside relaxation. I felt bad for the parents who had children. What a disappointment as well as for me. They should have forecasted this before I paid money to stay there.

Hotel room wasn’t clean, pool was unusable and actually closed due to violations and overall hotel wasn’t clean. Staff was great. Hotel needs attention!!

Ice machines not working Bathroom door coming off hinge and not able to close. Hallway carpet design makes them look dirty. Room was spacious and clean.
