Presque Isle Hotel

The only thing I did not like was the breakfast. Imitation eggs that arrive frozen, then thawed and heated back up are never all that great. No bacon or sausage, the coffee was okay. Fruit was good, but honestly the breakfast over all left little to be desired. Manager has been made aware of this from other travelers and from what I was told by staff, has not intention of doing anything to improve. Great room, better breakfast can be found less than a mile down the road.

Our room was very large, extremely clean, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure! Cleanliness is always important to us, and our room in particular was spotless. The staff was another highlight. There seemed to be staff everywhere, and every single person we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Everyone made a point to say hello or good morning, which really stood out to us. They also have a great restaurant and bar on site, along with a pool, which makes everything very convenient. The hotel is also in a great location. We were comfortable enough that we actually extended our stay, and we would absolutely stay here again. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the updates once the renovations are complete!

Was charged for rokm was never able to stay as room was dirty and they reported had no rooms left. Was told I would get refund bever recievd and had to book another room for myself and family to stay at spent way more the wanted cause of their mistake. They were very rude and never wanted to resolve situation

The room was nice but the hallways were gross. There was food on the floor in the hallway when we got there and it was still there the next morning.

The photos and listing are deceiving. The property is listed separately by room, listing as a VRBO with some rooms at 10 stars and some at 6 stars. Price was different for each separate listing. All of this should have been a red flag but I thought it was worth trying. We booked the same day as our stay so the options for the area were limited. We booked a king bed and when we checked in were told that the Expedia inventory wasn't updating and we had two doubles. The front desk clerk was rude about it and said it wasn't his problem-contact Expedia to complain. Next was the bathroom. The toilet seat really needs to be replaced. It is discolored on the lid and gross. The tub and shower had holes in the walls from old shampoo dispensers. The floors were replaced so at least I didnt have to deal with disgusting carpet. There wasn't a TV remote. I called the front desk and the general manager said to come get one and that we wouldn't be charged for a missing remote. When we went down the clerk, again in a rude manner, said he would have to fine one and someone would bring it to us. When he arrived about 5 minutes later, the universal remote didn't work. He said he would see if there was another one, as he is walking out of the room, I told him that the GM said just come get one. He replied "our GM isn't very helpful-don't listen to him" and the door closed. He returned with a new TV and eemore, plugged it in and said you may have to create an account and he left. Never again!

The bathtub was filthy and didn't drain well. The first room they gave us actually still had other guest in it. The bar area was nice though. We will probably not stay there again. We go to Presque Isle several times a year

The staff was good. The pool was nice and warm and clean. The rooms are very clean. The beds are really comfortable. We had a room issue and the staff was amazing and took care of it for us with no problems and we enjoyed our stay there very much.

Rented a king, got there and they only had a double full room available in the hall with housekeeping staff rooms (who smoked right in doorway that filled hall to where our room was). Room was clean, halls not so much, shower head didn't work, walls had some patchwork that hadn't been painted, breakfast wasn't as advertised- not much to offer, doors were not securely lockable, hall smoke detector beeped all night, resteraunt is not that- just a bar and what apps they said they had were almost all not available. I'd say more like a motel not hotel.

Hallways were dirty. The rooms are well worn. Breakfast should be skipped.

The room was very clean. I received no maid service after the first night and don't know why. The bathroom appears to be original from the 1970s -- rust in sink and on light fixture and no exhaust fan. There are no closets in any of the rooms -- no place to hang your clothes -- not good. The parking lot is extremely rough and pot holed. The biggest detractor, however, was the absolute foul smell of the hallways -- a bit nauseating to me. Also, no elevators with many stairs to lug suitcases and coolers up and down. Heck, you have to climb stairs just to get to the check-in desk.

Mold , dirty, bad customer service. Known fumes in room reserved. Was told last customer immediately left. Room 254 double king room. People smoking at entrance doors. Fluid stains on sofa ( white and oramge) .Hallways reeked of urine..Nothing offered to compensate. Photos on websites are not updated photos and are misleading. Should've spent the 500 for a reputable hotel chain.
