SureStay by Best Western Presque Isle

The staff was helpful,room clean and quiet. Breakfast area was clean even though it was busy. Owners seem to be making upgrades and it's good value,for an overnight stay.

Rear entry door was supposed to be key card entry but was open and not locked. Bathroom was TINY and there was mold on ceiling!

The facility was clean. The breakfast was good. Tried to check in around d 11:00 am because we were in the area and was told there would be a $30.00 up charge so we decided to wait. I under stand but it really did not look that busy and we were just going to get checked In Before we went out for the day. Not a bad place to stay over all.

Very comfortable beds and easy to get to and from.

The property could use updating. The outside appearance is drabbed and faded. Painted areas have not been painted any time recently. My first impression was disappointed. We were not able to get a handicapped room but were able to get a room near the lobby. Each day housekeeping only left our party of 3 one washcloth. The bathroom was so small that when a full roll of toilet paper was on the holder, you couldn't sit straight up on the toilet. I can say that each staff member I encountered was pleasant and helpful. Economically priced.

Room was clean but a visiting college team was staying there and running hallways until after 11:30pm. Contacted the front desk about 10 and was told it was just kids returning from a game. They were knocking on doors and giggling loudly for hours. Staff did not speak to them

Really dirty rooms. Stained sheets, grubby bathrooms. Needs a serious deep cleaning. Introduce yourselves to VACCUM CLEANERS! Please clean bathrooms! You can do this!! Great location.

This was a one night quick stay so it was okay and fine for what we needed. The continental breakfast was good. If you are looking for the bang for your buck it is good. If you are looking for new, upscale rooms, bright white towels, etc….not the place fur you.

Unfortunately, this property needs a thorough cleaning. The rooms were filthy, sheets were stained and carpets were disguising. Stains on fridge….Showerheads were filled with calcium; tub was badly stained. Door frame at side entry was literally falling apart.

It was not too far from the airport. It was almost midnight when we checked in after a very long day of travel. The first room he gave us had not been cleaned. We asked for another room. The staff member looked surprised. No apology offered. The second room was superficially clean but the bathtub and sink kept backing up. Ankle deep in water even as I rushed to shower. Told the front desk on the way out. No apology, again just a surprise d look as if we had done something wrong. Needless to say I will not be staying there again.

Friendly Staff. Hot breakfast with several choices of items. Coffee available 24/7 a plus after a long travel day!

The room was very clean. The only thing I’d recommend would be to check the towels. I found some very long hair within the fibers of a couple of bath towels. Neither one of us has brown long hair.

Bad

While it served its purpose for my busy weekend stay, I would not recommend to anyone who is looking for anything more than a place to lay your head.

The manager was a great person, very helpful and kind. The building is a bit shabby, and the bathrooms are tiny and, while clean, still appear dirty.

The bathroom smelled like mildew. The heater had a dirt smell to it. Never cleaned the room. There is no shuttle it a person using their personal vehicle. It didn’t appear that the staff were Best Western staff.
