Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark

What I did not like was we were told that breakfast was included and it was not. When I brought it up they said I was miss lead. Arrived 15 mins early our room was not ready they said they will call us. An hour and 20 mins later I went back to see why we were not called. And they said someone forgot to call and let us know the room was ready.

They need to improve the breakfast was very cold when serving but the staff was very good

I just want to say that the staff was incredible and did the best they could with this hotel. This hotel is in desperate need of major refresh... Remove all the carpet, redo all the bathrooms and put fans in them... Too much moisture everywhere that causes mildew and mold. Replace all mattresses, mine was almost folding in the middle! The railings in the main stairs need repainting, the elevators walls and panels need to be cleaned. The indoor water park need to be maintained, from the flooring to the stairs... But the kids had a blast! Loved the activities and the arcade room!

No towels at the waterpark. I filled out the card in the room for a refresh of towels and we never received any. Dusty room and outdated. Staff was pleasant.

Check in process was a nightmare on Friday afternoon, had to wait 3 hours for a room post initial check in. Waterpark was OK however not enough tubes for a lazy river, so you’re basically walking most of the time when there. Rooms were good, spacious, but the mattresses were flimsy and caused neck pain and discomfort. Realistically only reason I booked here is for a 4 year old traveling with us and since she’s happy it’s not a 1-star review.

Room big enough for family

100 degrees out. Went specifically for the water slides. Went down 3 times and then they closed them all at 5pm with no explanation. Asked the front desk and they had no idea why. No announcements or anything. Just a complete rip off. The rooms were clean and cool, but the reason for going there was not available. Never again.

Service from their maintenance man was a 10! Professional and fixed the problem immediately. The indoor water park is a nice addition if you have little kids. TOP NOTCH life guards on duty all around! Very impressed with that. Its old inside but they are trying to keep it up the best they can. Lobby needs repair. Carpet in room needs repair.

The room is good and clean. Staff was okay but if you have a big group and multiple rooms. Make sure you ask for first floor. I guess the floor don’t have great sound proofing, when you walk as soft as you can it still makes huge noises which the staff would call you and knock on your door to stop walk around. Not sure how I’m not going to walk around…….. it’s a vacation, not gonna waste it all on sleep. Otherwise it was great, waterpark was perfect. Very family friendly.

It was an amazing experience!

Water park shut down for an hour for safety training? in the middle of the day, not cool. Hot Tub was running but not allowed to use it with no answers from staff. of all things parents can enjoy while kids are busy & you pay for all the amenities you get a No Go on Hot tub.

The rooms are very dated and the rugs have stains on them.

If you want to eat breakfast there, prepare for a long waiting line. Starbucks is there with 1 employee, again long wait time. We had a Suite on the 4th floor, it was very clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
