La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lake George

FRONT LOBBY- dirty crumpled paper towel on the floor that left there all day. The carpet on the stairs and lobby desperately needed vacuuming. Pebbles were all around. Still was there the next day. Excellent coffee/tea area available around the clock. ROOM - very clean POOL & Game Room - well maintained BREAKFAST Room- very clean PARKING LOT - clean (no litter) STAFF- very polite and helpful BREAKFAST - FOOD - good variety of foods and enough for everyone SOUND - 10pm quiet curfew. Even though hotel full with family/kids & those with pets, our room was very quiet. Could not hear through the bedroom walls (only the bathroom). BATHROOM- bathroom was clean, water pressure excellent, water drainage a little slow at one time, probably during a high water use time. Soap was great, shampoo & conditioner pass on, bring your own. ROOM Appliances - microwave great, small but efficient! Fridge great size and efficient. Coffee maker, good size & good mix of tea & coffee provided. All appliances were clean! ROOM temperature - A/C worked great keeping our room cool during a heatwave and did not have an odors from it. ROOM bed/bedding - bed firm, but comfortable, pillows comfortable. Excellent sized room, plenty of space for family. TV - good size and easy to use (same with alarm clock). We would definitely stay here again! FEEDFORWARD - Desk staff to be proactive in having the lot & lobby clean/picked up as soon as possible. First impressions are everything.

Suggestion; Gym you should have some water in your machine, and wipes to clean your equipment after our workout ! Also the mouse trap black box in the cafeteria, not a good idea. the rest was great

everything great, breakfast could have been better

We love this hotel. We have been a few times and plan on coming back. The swimming pool, waterside, and hot tub are awesome! The rooms are spacious and clean. The playground is really nice as well. It’s located close to Lake George Village.

The room size was large and the ice makers were good. The air conditioner was malfunctioning (dropping water on the floor) but we didn’t notice until our last day and reported it when we checked out.

Units loved the waterside and pool area.

Everything was fine; the only issue was that the sink didn't drain proper the water would pool up.

This hotel is pretty decent for the price point. It has useful facilities for people with young children.

Staff friendly and helpful but was disappointed that I booked TWO rooms and they did not accommodate us to be next to each other. Also, the whole floor was filled with customers that brought their pets which kept us up at night due to all the barking. I don’t mind pets but they should have a dedicated floor to accommodate them and have them separate from customers that do not have pets similar to smoking vs non smoking rooms. Other than that everything else was good. The whole family enjoyed the pool with the water slide. Breakfast was decent but could be better. Overall, I would recommend!

It was very convenient for shopping and a quick trip to downtown lake George. Breakfast was good The Toilet clogged and the guy working the desk handed me a plunger. The kiddie pool had a big sign that said do not use so that was a bit disappointing for my two year old

The pool/warterslide is great, kids loved it. The playground out back was a hit for the kids too. We had a suite and I loved the setup, it gave enough room for the whole family. Cleanliness wasn’t top tier, other than that it was decent. Prices go up in the summer drastically, but we had gotten a great deal this time.

They are a pet friendly hotel, which is fine… But we had two yappy dogs…. One in the room across the hall and one of the room next to us. Anytime either would start barking they would both start barking. Additionally, there is no trash pick up in our room for two days. Finally the breakfast was very crowded, both days only one person working there. They were overwhelmed. The trash barrels were over full, and the food was not restocked. Not the fault of the person working, just the fact that they were the only person there.

Waterside and pool area were great !

Great playground, great breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was a little dated. Chlorine smell was very strong, like burn your eyes strong. Pool water was cold but tolerable.

I enjoyed my 2 days of staying at the Laquinta hotel in lake George, Ny. My family and I had a wonderful time and wished it was longer. We enjoyed the waterslide at the indoor pool, hot tub, arcade, out door playscape, benches, outdoor gazebo, basketball court, fitness center, tv with seating area and selection of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I also had a multiple bed (3) full beds, in the room with microwave and small fridge. I enjoyed my free breakfast, elevator access and laundry room. Shopping, and restaurants in the area was convenient and had a variety of selection. I would definitely return back with family, since it’s a family friendly hotel and dogs are allowed. The best hotel I’ve ever been in. My grandkids enjoyed every moment.

Convenient

It’s a Motel then a hotel. Not maintained, bathroom lock doesn’t work. Terrible breakfast. No gutter caps for tub or sink. And issues with refrigerator too. Shouldn’t advertise it as a hotel, it’s no good than an old roadside motel. Also bad toiletries.
