It said hot tub on site when booking. Both pool and hot tub are closed. Received notification of this the day before our trip.

Unfortunately, this was one of the less pleasant stays. The room had a strong Pine-Sol smell, and the hallway smelled heavily of marijuana. It was also disappointing to find that the guest laundry was no longer available, and the vending machines that were once on each floor have also been removed. The staff were friendly and courteous, and I don’t blame them for these issues. However, it seemed odd to have housekeeping knocking on our door at 9:00 a.m. when checkout wasn’t until 11:00 a.m. Overall, the property feels like it has declined from what it once was. With better upkeep and restored amenities, it could provide a much better guest experience. Can highly recommend Tiramisu for dinner: great food and excellent service. Can recommend Washland for your laundry.

Breakfast was good. Air conditioner & fridge cycled throughout the night making very loud noises at the end of each cycle waking us each time. The inside door handle came completely off the door. We brought this to the staff's attention who couldn't reach the manager who was supposed to give us a call after we checked out but never did.

There was mold spores in the air conditioner, our bed sheets were dirty with what appeared to be someone’s makeup and blue pen, the bed was rock hard, and we had to put something in front of our door to keep it shut and from light coming in. The bathroom door also did not lock and would come open.

Hotel and rooms and beds were clean, and staff was welcoming. Variety of grab and go breakfast options and walking distance to a couple nicer restaurants in Quincy. Would definitely stay again!

One weird experience: space-saving (good) location of toilet paper dispenser + industrial grade paper (not good, but the industry standard) means you need to forcefully yank the paper at an angle to tear off a sheet. In doing so, I cut my hand on the edge of the wood and bled a few minutes. I'm not litigious, but some guests are, so this might be a situation to address.
