Check-in went nice with Megan, she was very helpful. Then everything went downhill fast. Walking to our room there were people smoking pot outside of their room with the door open. When we got to the room I was ready to leave and get another hotel but my husband liked the location (close to the place where his mother is living) and didn’t wan’t to spend hours driving instead of visiting family. In the morning when we tried to take a shower the shower water was cold and would not warm up. We went to the front desk and they gave us a different room. We tested the water in the shower and it got hot so we moved our stuff in. After a VERY long day, I tried to go to sleep but the springs were popping into my back. I roughed it and tried not to complain, I used the bed comforter to cover the springs. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced! We were stuck because we didn’t have time to find another hotel and move all our stuff for the last night before going back home. I believe this is a “welfare hotel” as people are living there fulltime with pets and plants. I would advise everyone to stay away from this hotel!

Although the facility is outdated, it was well maintained, and clean. The staff was very helpful as well

This hotel is pretty run down. However, the staff is responsive and friendly, which I appreciate.

I had a last minute

All the rooms smell like cigarette. You can hear everything from next door. The person next to me was yapping all night until 0200AM and I heard everything like we’re in the same room.

Needs a lot of work from top to bottom!!!!

Great for a quick stay… room had a lingering smell of smoke (from years ago), and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but I slept in peace and got back on my road trip the next day with ease!

Great overall, outside appearance might not be the best but great all around

The price was right. This hotel is good for 1 night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The property is old and outdated. The building needed painting. The elevator could use a good cleaning.

After reading and agreeing to 3 pages of rules and additional charges, we entered a room that was more than smokey. This is nteresting because one clause was a charge for smoking in the room. I attempted to call the front desk without success. Then called the grneral number where I was immediately transferred to a full voice mail and disconnected. Long story short, I never had the opportunity to speak with a human after the delayed check-in. The property appears to be the choice of semi-transistent guests and folks seeking a cheap place for a few days. Not complaining ( remember we were seeking a single inexpensive night in the west end of Richmond. The intent of my review is to better set expectations for those considering to stay.

A very acceptable stay for the price. The staff was friendly and professional, and the outside and room were clean. However, this is an older, worn hotel in need of updating. It also appears that the new management is only making the necessary repairs at this time - for example, they had replaced some of the tiles in the bath surround with white tiles but did not do the entire surround, so parts were different colors. One bed felt very new and the other bed was almost at the end of its life. Many places outside needed painting. The TV is very small. But everything worked and it was quiet. Cold AC, clean fridge/microwave, good water pressure in the shower. A decent place to sleep for a night or two, but be aware that the price reflects some need for updating.

Location is central with shopping malls nearby.

It smelled like stale cigarettes, bathroom had hair shavings, keep your shoes on as the rug was disgusting. The door locked but was not tight so I slide a chair to lock it and the dresser. Slept with one eye open

And dirty

I asked for a handicap accessible room, meaning, walk in shower lower beds. Not accessible for my 85 year old mother who walks with a walker. I chose this hotel cause of its close proximity to the Heniro Doctors Hospital. We will not book again.

The place with filthy, the smoke alarm’s battery went out and blasted in the night, they put laminated flooring right over top of dirty carpet. This place is a dump.
