Quality Inn & Suites Rockingham

Rooms had a stench of mold. Curtains literally hanging off wall. Lamps did not work. Fridge was warmer than the dresser. No shampoo in dispenser. No conditioner in dispenser. And the final kicker….. there was ZERO toilet paper in our room. Not on roller. Not in cabinet. ZERO. I went to front desk to let them know about the toilet paper and her response was “oh ok, would you like some?” The best thing about this place was the Mexican restaurant across the street. 10/10. Please. Consider other hotels to stay if travelling south. PS - I have never written a bad review before. I want to save the next family from having to wipe a sock in an emergency. 😂

We needed a place to stay with our cats. They charge $25 per pet which is fine but they also charge an additional $150 cleaning fee which we did not know. I thought the $25 per pet was for that??? Needless to say it made the cost of the stay prohibitive and we lost our room fee.

The room was in an old and sloppy condition. Curtain had holes and hanging off rod. The only thing in the shower was a bottle of conditioner. No shampoo. Tissue box empty. Everything needed a good cleaning. Breakfast was bad . Ran out of coffee and milk.

The staff was as accommodating as they could be, tried their best to make the stay a good one. The king bed was comfortable, and it was near quite a few fast food places and other restaurants. The room we stayed in only had two things going for it. The AC worked and the bed was good. The tub did not fill very well, we had to fiddle with the plug to get it to hold water. The bathroom door did not close, it had been hung incorrectly and the top corner caught on the frame. Only one lamp worked, and it looked like they had both been dropped, the corners of the lampshades were broken. The rooms main door had a 1/4 inch of play in it even with the dead bolt locked, we could see light around it. The thermostat had a big piece of the wallpaper removed around it, displaying the drywall underneath.

Breakfast not eatable and only old, cold coffee available at 8 am.

AC was very nice, room should have been cleaned, and/or at least empty trash can. Room #100 felt like it was siting directly in the intersection of Hgwy 74 and 220. The noise was terrible from the cars and trains.

Room lacked cleanliness, had mold and water damage! Do yourself a favor and find choose a different hotel!

It had a lot to be desired. The whole milk was sour so we couldn’t eat the cereal. There was no one around to ask the eggs were cold.

Location Not kept up - needs to be taking care of of grounds - dirty room old - mattress outside of a room tje whole day we were there - my wife's smart watch was left there and we called to ask about it being found and they never called back - we tracked it there -- good by watch

Didn't get breakfast, no signs to say when breakfast was. Got to the breakfast area at 9:50 am and breakfast was all cleaned up and closed. Didn't get breakfast

Nothing except it was convenient location. The room looked like it had been remodeled but not clean after remolding and the cover on the bed had a cigarette hole in it! We don’t smoke!! Also the tube looked like the sticker was removed but left the sticky stuff there and it was clean off! Also there were footprints from shoes in the tub! The door to the room had about 11/2 to 2 inches at the bottom where it wasn’t flush with the frame. If it rained the water would flood the room! We were told when we checked in we got one of the last rooms. So I figured it was our only choice plus the person that checked us in did not understand English very well! Also the coffee was cold at breakfast along with the eggs and frozen muffins.

Tenant doing a brake job in parking lot. Owner of establishment charged our credit card the moment we booked the room, not when we arrived 6 weeks later. Breakfast accommodations were poor. Out of coffee for about 15 minutes . Food was barely edible.

Parking was very good.
