This place is completely worn out and desperately needs a makeover, but besides that it seems to do the job for when you’re in town and need something close by the freeway and close by Family. Stuff was wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was fine. They have yogurt, sausages, and waffles. You can make yourself yogurt and fruit. Coffee is horrible, but what can you expect from an old machine? There is a Dutch Bros across the street and you have CHP across the street makes you feel safe. We stayed in the bigger room suites that had balcony seating in a little living room with a fireplace and a mini bar so it didn’t feel so cramped as though regular rooms. The carpet was dark and dingy, and the bed was on the harder side. It was one of the cheaper options in town and it did the job for just sleeping there.

It requires a lot of maintenance and upgrades! It’s very very old. The room curtains had holes. The ac unit was tagged or graffiti. Roaches at night. Really needs a lot of work and attention. Elevator was not working but staff was able to reset it but very noisy and afraid that it will be stuck! Whoever owns or manages this hotel please!!!! Pay attention and do some work and research to this building.

I will stay there again

The people at the Best Western Capital City were amazing. They helped with getting my families rooms all together since I was going to be in the hospital. The rooms were clean. and I can't say it enough, all the people at this Best Western were absolutely wonderful.

n/a room #103 needs AC/Heat system repair, it auto blowing cold air about 11pm on and off all night long, i couldn't change the temperature from AC to HEAT or shut it off, the controller board was extremely difficult to control or does not respond, we were sleeping inside a refrigerator in that room, nice looking hotel from the outside view but poor management owner or just a gold digging thing, i wouldn't recommend myself trying that nice looking hotel again, i don't know about you but good luck to all of you and if you ever come across sleeping in a fridge room, one zero three like me.....hahah....!!!!

Our family were in Sac for a surgery at Kaiser. We had 3 rooms for 3 nights. The staff and Andrew in particular were amazing. There was absolutely nothing we needed or asked for that they were not happy to provide and help out with. Extra pillows, an extra chair, noon check out. They went out of their way to make us comfortable during a stressful time. Thank you!

That said, 3 things: 1. It was explicitly told to me by my work that I would not need to use my credit card for a security deposit of "Incidental Fees" because the company credit card was already on file, but the front desk stated that Priceline said otherwise. This should be resolved ASAP so everyone is on the same page and to avoid awkward check-ins. 2. The handle for my room's sink was literally snapped of by someone prior to my arrival and was lying on the counter rendering the sink useless. I had to use the tub's faucet since I didn't want to exchange rooms. A detailed walk-though prior to guests' arrival would avoid such situations. 3. The a/c would not cooperate with the thermostat.

The staff were friendly and the room clean. The breakfast was plenty and the coffee perfect. The location was good and easy freeway access. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed our stay. Best Western was affordable and very safe.

N/A no, comment room 103 needs AC/Heat system repair, it auto turned ON, i couldn't control the temperature to stop or change from AC to HEAT, the controller board was difficult or does not respond

The breakfast is not good. The breakfast selection is very limited and cannot need Meeds of customers .
-
The breakfast was not as advertised. The coffee machine in the breakfast area was the same one they use in your room and it takes forever for someone to make a cup of coffee. This place is definitely not worth the price you pay for the rooms.

This is a good place just to take a good nights rest and continue with your driving

It was exactly as advertised! We had a very nice, comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel.
