Best Western Plus St. Simons

Friendly staff clean room located in a beautiful area

Absolutely nasty!! Walked in to room only to find a nasty dirty room. Dirt and grass in the entry and not just a little. It was almost like the door was open when the grass was mowed. The room had a musty smell. The worst part was the bathroom. There were pubic hairs on the counter top and the white tissue dispenser. There were also hairs in the tub which was also not cleaned and was stained. There were mildew and mold around the tub and floor. The bathroom floor was stained and dirty. The Mirror was also not clean with splatters on it. We couldn't stay there. I immediately went back to the desk and asked for a refund and they said a manager had to approve it. No Manager was available until the next morning. Never called me back as promised. I contacted Expedia and told them the story. I stayed on hold while they tried calling the hotel multiple times and no one would answered. The call lasted approximately 20 minutes. I was told by Expedia they would contact me within 24 after we hung up. Still haven't heard from them either. Still no refund. Having to pay for a unsanitary room i didn't stay in is absurd!! Very Disappointing!!

There was hair on the shower walls and sink, the floor was poorly swept and did not look mopped. There was hair on the fresh set of towels. Crumbs and trash underneath the pull up sofa

Clean and convenient location and price Nothing

Had a outdoor hog tub but coulnt use it,was getting the surrounding deck stained on a friday evening.The major reason for staying there.

I frequent this hotel for my visits to St. Simons Island, and it's always clean, quiet, safe, and the staff is always helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

They went above and beyond welcoming us and really made our anniversary special! I hope they get recognized for giving us a wonderful stay!!! I could be updated but it’s charming.

Beautiful pool, nice location. The landscape people were making so much noise with their power tools for two days. Places like hotels they should use electric tools.

Breakfast, breakfast staff, and kitchenette area was clean and polite! Check-in experience, unsanitary bathroom, shower, dated room, and antiquated exterior wall air conditioner that cut on and off during the nights without regulation! It is definitely overpriced for the conditions and experience!

The room was nice and spacious, but we did find a couple of dead roaches. The pool was nice. Breakfast was good. Didn't like the constant smell of smoke from cigars, weed, cigarettes all around the property. There was a couple of families that were very loud and would yell across the property at each other.

We like the location of this hotel and that they offer breakfast. Our room was a king suite and a great size. There were no pool towels and the mini fridge in our room hardly worked. We had the temp set to the coldest but it barely kept our drinks cooler than room temp. The TV's look like smart tvs but will not allow you to connect to cast or allow netflix to work, so you are left with local cable channels only.

Disappointing
