Comfort Inn & Suites Salina North

I did not end up staying at this property because, despite having a prepaid room and confirmed booking from Booking.com and a confirmation number of 6138166559 that I showed to the front desk, they had no record of a booking having been made for me. The counter person was helpful in contacting Comfort Inn Salina South, making sure my reservation had not inadvertently been made there. She also helped me find a room at the South Salina location, which I had to pay for in full as the prepaid through Booking.com could not be transferred as the North Comfort Inn had no record of it, or my reservation. No trace of my name. No cross reference to the booking. They were full up for the night with two large groups and unable to accommodate me. I had chosen the prepaid option, so my credit card had been charged. It was non-refundable rate, chosen because I knew I would not be altering the reservation due to commitments to that area. They were able to contact Comfort Inn Salina South, and help me find a room, which I had to pay for in full as the prepaid through Booking.com could not be transferred as they had no record of it.

Exceptional

Good

Carpet strip was torn.

The smoke alarm in the room beeped all night long and no one was at the front desk, came when I rang the bell, or responded to my call when I called to complain. No one was at the front desk when I left this morning. I rang the bell to report the issue and no one showed up. I had to leave so I could not wait any longer.

Superb

I was very disappointed for this stay to fall under the comfort in name. Pool is unusable!! And closed!! Room sheets and floor is clean. Staff is helpful and doing all they can with what employees they have. This review is 09/2026 !!! And photos are 100% real.

Very good

Shower not working. A known issue, not mentioned at check in. No apology or comp offered

Light out in bathroom Shampoo dispenser broken Shower VERY slick, no mat. Had to put in a towel. Breakfast not available on a Sat until 7 Property was very clean.

Passable

Clean room. Breakfast was cold

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the past two weeks. The beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Young women who checked me in and out were very friendly and hospitable. They failed to inform me that the plumbers in some of the bathrooms have the hot and cold water switched in the showers. Fortunately, I was able to figure it out by accident. They do provide a continental breakfast. It was fine, but there wasn’t much of a selection in my opinion. I stayed on Friday nights and they don’t have the breakfast section open until 7 AM on weekends. I wanted to leave before 7 AM so I didn’t stay for the breakfast on my second stay. I would rate the rooms at an eight. I would rate the receptionist at a nine. I would rate the breakfast at a five. I will consider staying at this hotel in the future if I want to stay in Salina.

Everything was top notch.

Breakfast was good staff very friendly! The rooms were not the nicest. The bathroom especially. Around the tub was disgusting. Not really the nicest room all around. I’m
