La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salina

The pillows on the king bed were very small, almost like the size of a throw pillow. The bed itself was NOT comfortable, it was very very firm. The staff were friendly, no complaints there. The food was not great. The eggs were gross and had a bad after flavor, not many options. Pretty basic, which is fine for the price you pay. The eggs seriously did ruin the breakfast for me though, they were that bad. Parking was easy, easy to find the hotel. Great location since its right off of the highway. Its behind a gas station and McDonald's. Its better than a motel 6 or a super 8, but not great. Again, staff were friendly and helpful, they took my cooler and put it in the freezer so I keep my stuff frozen.

It’s a pretty old and run down building. The rooms are clean but pretty outdated. They were accommodating for my dog.

We also asked for a rolling bed and the attendant at the desk was very helpful. The breakfast room was kind of chaos but they were trying to make things tidy.

It was a decent property, but wae the lowest quality LaQuinta Inn I have ever stayed in. I booked it initially without looking at the star rating. After I arrived there and saw the property's keep, I looked it up and noticed it was a 2-star property. I booked it off my previous experiences with the hotel name. Inside the room was nicer and cleaner than the hallways or exterior and that is why I had no issues with the stay.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Pet friendly but I didn’t see an area maintained specifically for pets outside

Never again!

We won’t stay at this hotel, or any LaQuinta again, if we can help it. We’ve been disappointed every time we’ve stayed in a LaQuinta.

Cleanliness is questionable. Very old worn building.

Only complaint was the mattress sagged toward the middle.

Decent breakfast selection, clean and quiet hotel.

The whole first floor seems to be reserved for people with animals. We ended up getting a room on the third floor after $10 upgrade charge so we wouldn’t have to stay in an animal friendly room the first room they put us in the air conditioner wasn’t working so he had to be moved again. The room was fairly clean once we got in there. The pool was clean and usable.

The front desk staff was not friendly on our arrival. When we got to our room we found a plastic bag covering the smoke alarm. There was mold in the bathroom vent. When I tried to address it the next morning, there wasn’t a manager on site. The person at the desk wasn’t able to answer or address anything. Their system was down and unable to give me a receipt. I asked for a callback and I still have not heard anything. I have stayed at other La Quinta Inns which were much higher quality and this is not the quality I expected from La Quinta Inn. The facility was old and worn and in desperate need of a remodel. If we were not traveling through and on a time schedule ,I would ask for a refund.

Property was clean, staff nice, breakfast good. Would definitely stay here again

Our shower had a crack in it, it was covered but the tape was coming off. The crack was soft around it. If you accidentally stepped by it, you got a sinking feeling. It has to be something that isn’t safe.

We booked a room last minute because we were traveling and needed to rest. The pics looked great and so we booked online and went to the location. I immediately realized that it wasn't the same La Quinta featured in the pictures. This one was very run down and looked to be located in the middle of some kind of industrial area. The hotel was grungy and in disrepair. Our bathroom sink wouldn't drain, which was disgusting, and the microwave was dirty, also gross. When we tried to microwave some water for tea, it made a loud high-pitched grinding sound, so we stopped using it for fear it would burst into flames or something. Everything was dingy & grimy. We were so exhausted that we just went to sleep in the lumpy bed, and left early the next morning. Everything was so off-putting that we didn't want to take any chances with the lame breakfast they served in the creepy dining area. The room wasn't cheap either. I would've been annoyed even if we had paid half of what we did. Go somewhere else. Clearly the owners of this location are not interested in maintaining this run down, sad excuse of a La Quinta.

For one night it was grrat

The staff was very, very nice and extremely helpful. The hotel was a little outdated and needed upgrades.

Great hotel for the price. The outside is a little dated compared to other La Quinta. There was no shampoo or soap dispensers in the shower, just 2 bottles of conditioner. All in all, I'd stay there again.
