The day after we checked out I noticed charges on my card. One charge for $20 dollars and another charge for $30. I called and was told it was for a sound machine that was missing from the room. The maid said it was in the room. I explained that I never saw a sound machine and would never take something that didn’t belong to me. Later in the day I received a message the charges would be refunded. It was concerning to have added charges without any notice or receipt. I could have easily missed the charges while traveling.

The bed was so comfy

Fun, clean, little roadside motel! Looks a bit sketchy from the photos, but we were happily surprised at how cute and clean it was! Staff were very friendly!

From the moment we checked in the staff was very helpful. Answering all the questions we had and made sure to recommend the amenities they provided. They had a nice little patio with a pool and seating with fans and lighting. It was a great spot for a drink from the pool side bar. The rooms are newly renovated and updated. They included a microwave, mini fridge, closet space for hanging clothes, and extra linens if needed. The shower was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in case you forgot your own. After a long day of driving, the bed was exactly what we needed for a good nights rest. There were options for small breakfast items included or a few items you could purchase. The staff was able to make lattes in the morning and were all very helpful. We would definitely stay the night if traveling through again.

This place is very cute, it’s actually a motel and not a hotel, but it’s been completely renovated and we loved it. The pool was very nice, we loved the cabana and hot tub. Having a coffee shop/bar on site was really handy. The cocktails were fresh and made from scratch. I would stay here again.

This is my favorite place to stay in San Angelo.

It a really cool little hotel. Old school, but very nicely remodeled. Comfortable rooms and beds. Staff are super friendly. They have a great bar!

The rooms are updated. Breakfast is very minimal, as is the free coffee. There was a guest amenity fee I was not told about. No drinks inside the pool or lobby, not even water or non alcoholic drinks.

This was my second stay at the Hotel Angoria. I will be making my third visit in a couple of months. This is a beautiful boutique hotel built in an old fashioned drive up motel. You can usually park in front of your door. The staff is very friendly, helpful and fun to visit with. The lobby, bar area and grounds are also beautifully done. The amenities in the rooms are top notch. They have not overlooked even the smallest of details. There are even live plants in the rooms. This is my go to hotel when in San Angelo.

As a motel, there was no common area available after 10:00 p.m. As a result, our group had to bring chairs from our rooms and gather in the parking lot. The advertised complimentary breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread, packets of instant oatmeal, and coffee. Most concerning, this property was promoted as the nicest hotel in San Angelo. I had reserved three rooms, yet every guest in my party checked out a day early and relocated to the Courtyard by Marriott due to the poor condition of the accommodations and the overall guest experience.

This place seems nicer then it is - its an old motel, the walls are thin, towels are cheap, they only give you 2 towels, they charge for a late check out, and charge you for make up on towels. Overall I will not be staying here. The staff was nice, but they need to figure out nickle and diming for every little thing when it's a hotel and people request normal things like a late check out and more towel...without being charged for it. This place is overpriced - might as well stay somewhere you know what your gonna get!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The bar was great, the 18 year old bartender was very fun and knowledgeable. The pool/hot tub patio area are right next to bar and very nice. Property has been updated and room was was spacious, with lots of closet space. I prefer a firmer mattress than the one in the room, but my sister thought it was very comfortable

There was a film on the pool surface, mold in the window of the bathroom, a stain on the floor of the room, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. In addition, prices have jumped up while quality seems to have dropped. That's not the trend you want to see, especially when paying $200 plus for a very small room on a very busy and loud street.

Renovated, clean, comfortable. Only downside can be traffic noise which can be mitigated with good earplugs

For the location I was worried but this was very nice. Would stay again.

Pretty neat motel! They did a great job remodeling this location. Has a great small pool area, bar and nice rooms.

For being a renovated motel, it’s very nice. It’s pricey for it to just be a diy breakfast. The pool is small. The staff is very nice and helpful. My room was near the street so be prepared for the traffic noise.

This property is a perfect example of don’t judge a book by its cover. Very unassuming from the outside but once you enter the lobby everything changes. Beautiful little lobby, bar and pool/hot-tub area. Rooms are amazing with a European flair. Beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in an hotel. Staff is amazing. Family owned and operated. Absolute West Texas jewel!
