Obviously care about the appearance because the gardening inside and all the plants and cute attention to detail, like the patio signs, were precious. We loved this stay. It’s also within walking distance to San Marcos downtown and an awesome park with a playground and decorated old fire trucks. For our family, this was a perfect place!

Not impressed with the breakfast cold gravy and biscuits. Coffee was like colored water pretty low-key you could have a better juice setup. Our room was never straightened up. And carpet in the hallways and stairs desperately needs cleaning. The staff and personnel were very friendly great granddaughter. Enjoyed the pool and play area very much. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Pool being open late was a plus as well.

Older property, but we knew that .I have stayed there several times nothing fancy. More nostalgia than anything. Free breakfast was not very good and the hostess did not come out from the back the whole time we were there.

Passing through for a few days and enjoyed the pool and restaurant, bar. It’s a little older but has a lot of character. The staff was super nice . Free breakfast every day without missing a beat. Room was fine. Built in the 1960s it’s not new but maintained. Food and drinks were great. Definitely would go back.

The only thing I liked at the property was the room I always get is close to the river. That's it. Probably not going staying there anytime soon

Property is family friendly with the amenities they offer. It’s an older hotel but I had no issues. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Hotel was dirty took , had to wait 2 extra hours to check in. Staff was rude especially office manage who lives there with marker eyebrows.
