La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Antonio I-35 N at Toepperwein

Staff was friendly I have beg regrate to book this hotel . I never ever think USA have this kind of hotel . I changed two room OMG both have nasty smell . Bathroom dirty bed sheet like never wash . Room have spider web . Even I cannot breath on both room are same condition. Lobby carpet with full dust . I checked in at 9.00 pm I have to sleep in my semi truck agin at 12.00 pm that is more comfert then this hotel . Nightmare

Average hotel. Not dirty, but well worn down. Nice staff. Good amenities we enjoyed our stay

I didn’t like the property It wasn’t clean, it was very outdated and overall it looked disgusting

Conveniently located off the expressway. Room was spacious. AC vents were dirty , we had to clean them . Floors had not been properly cleaned my grandchildren feet were black with gunk .. they looked clean but not mopped . The free breakfast was only cereal and waffles . No eggs , no bacon or sausage . No fruit or yogurt. Only apple juice and lemonade and coffee. The only thing good was the price of the room for the weekend. And the convenience of the location . The Dennys restaurant and Whataburger were our go to for meals for breakfast .

Price. Unclean. Had to buy our own cleaning products.

Only had one working light in between beds and when I turned the light on there was a little roach on the pillow. I didn’t think about taking a picture because I just wanted to kill it. The bathtub did not look clean

Restrooms were dirty the towels were stained old and dingy they need to buy new towels.

I needed a quick place to stay and I found this location that was able to provide a room for 4 grown ups and a child. I really enjoyed this room. It had three beds. It was very spacious. Very clean. The only thing that I would recommend is that you bring your own necessities because there wasn't enough. Meaning shampoos and conditioners etc. It also had an iron and ironing board and a blow dryer. The coffee machine was quite small though. Either way I love the room I would definitely stay here again. The only thing is we were located on the third floor and showed up late night so the elevator wasn't working during the night. It only works during the daytime. So if you have a disabled person make sure that you ask for a lower level room.

5 guests stated on booking but only 3 towels available. They gave me more at desk. There was still trash in floor as if it hadn’t been swept prior and it was sticky. For the reputation La Quinta has had prior for us this wasn’t its best day. Our usual La Quinta downtown location was booked so we booked this one expecting same quality.

People next door to us were partying outside our door until after 1:30 am and had to call the front desk to have them stop. Only complaint

Clean room and had a waffle maker

The room was picked up and the beds were made yes but it was dirty I don’t know when the last time the doors were cleaned and the floor was mopped. The tub was stopped up. The breakfast was only cereal and waffles when I have stayed at other Quintas and the experience was much better. Won’t be coming to this location again.

I arrived for my reservation, and there were two men chatting. I waited a long time to be helped; they didn't even greet me or say a word—I just waited. They gave me room 210, and it was horrible: there was blood on the bed, the mattresses were awful, and the bathroom was disgusting. When I went for breakfast—which was supposed to be a buffet, though that was a lie—I was about to make a waffle, and the first thing that came out of the waffle batter dispenser was a cockroach. The area outside the property was just as gross; I don't know how the city of San Antonio allows a hotel like this to stay open, or how Hotels.com allows them to lie about hotel conditions. I only stayed there because I had no other choice and it was already late at night. I do not recommend it. Thanks.

Disappointing

The room was not clean and smelled funny. I had to go buy my own bedding from Walmart. I asked for towels and they said they didn't have anymore. The breakfast was pretty humble. I was embrassed when my 10-year old saw roaches in the eating area and mentioned it outloud. This place needs lots of TLC quick! Price was fair but you'd be better off if you paid a bit more. We left the hotel a day early because I was so uncomfortable. We will not stay there again :(
