Stayed for 3 nights with my two teens. Very loud AC and as we had cooking facilities, would’ve been nice to have some utensils or plates! But it was comfortable and a good size for the time we were there and a great location for sightseeing.

It’s fine for a quick overnight stay. The beds were not the most comfortable but they were fine. Easy check in and out. Pool was great

Stains on the sheets, bed has quite an intention to it. Front desk was cool, town was awesome. No ice, no available water, nothing but vending machine.

Every time I go there I get treated like I matter. The staff that works there are always willing to help me with anything that I need and they always do it with a smile on their face. There are many other places that I can stay at in San Diego, but I don’t And the number one reason is that the rooms are always clean and comfortable and I just love the people who work there. If I were coming from out of town or somewhere else in the Country I’d recommend staying at California Suites Hotel just because it’s a nice place that you can stay and feel comfortable and relaxed.

The room is just okay. It was clean. For a quick overnight stay it’s fine. The walls are very thin. Area was a little bit iffy. Parking was free.

The staff was very nice and even let me check in early so I could freshen up before my sons meet and greet dinner at the MCRD base. The rooms were clean and it is a beautiful property that is close to everything!

They need a bigger tv. We’re living on the 20’s not on the 90’s tv era.

It has a smell, there was hair all over . Not a nice stay, do not recommend.

Hotel is on the older side. Could not find elevator. Rooms need to be updated. Carpets are dirty. For what we needed it for it worked.
