Location was good . Pretty comfortable space

We love booking here it’s so welcoming the staff are nice and understanding the pool an jacuzzi was very clean and worth staying here as a bonus for us rooms are fresh and clean could use updates on certain things in the room but other then that this is our go to place for vacation

The location was excellent near the beaches and the shopping malls and the restaurants.

The staff were wonderful. The bathroom was in need of repair. The 2 beds were squeaky and very uncomfortable. There was no microwave. But for the price, it was adequate for the 2 nights we booked.

Restroom was dirty. Tub was dirty? Our “clean towels had someone else’s hair in it! Our bed was broken. I am very disappointed with my stay.

There are no frills here, which is why the rate is low. Keep that in mind. We stayed for a week and left early morning and came back late at night. We really only used the bed, shower and mini fridge. The bed was not comfortable. By the last night we were sore. BUT….we knew the room cost was low. Upon arrival our room was clean and that’s a huge factor for us. Cleaning services are not provided during your stay. We kept our own room clean, removing dirty towels and getting clean ones from the front desk. We also emptied our own trash as needed. We requested supplies like shampoo and toilet paper from the front desk as needed as well. We were disappointed that the ice machine for the property was out of order requiring us to spend extra money each day for ice for our cooler. Also, note upfront that breakfast is not included. Just know that extras are not part of the booking here and you’ll be fine. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. There was adequate parking for us each day. We felt safe with the gated courtyard area. There is a pool and hot tub available, but we did not use these opting instead to go to beaches. We would come again and hope the next bed we get is more comfortable.

Exceptionally clean room; it exceeded expectations. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I’ll visit again in the future.

Some of the plugs in the room did not work, the air would cut off leaving the room warm

The last time I stayed there, people got into my room while I stepped out, broke the security clutch from within. I show the picture of the broken clutch to the front desk staff, he was not surprised, just gave another room to look at (change room). The suggested room was in the hotel edge conceal area, with no security clutch also, even worse. Back to front desk, a woman took place of he left off, and said he gone for today. I was given another edge room to move to. While my fear sank in, the previous staff knocked on/request to open my door and said he just want to help. I called police for protection since without the security clutch, cleaning ladies and others with the code card could get into the room anytime. Police came and informed me of the private property rule. Police have no authority to govern the events happened but the owner of the property. Suggested me to talk to the hotel security guards or so to solve the problem by myself. A sleepless night. Asked the front desk staffs to fix the security clutch in the next afternoon, yet nothing was fixed on the main security device of the room until the 4 days later I moved out. The Hotel left me live in fears and unprotected dangerous situation while they can send the maintain staff to fix the important device easily and immediately.

I like that bed sheets and towels were accessible from the lobby. I didn’t like that the kitchen counter in my room wasn’t clean. It wasn’t a mess, but it wasn’t clean either. I also want to recommend to the hotel policy makers to extend the laundry room to 24 hours. Thank you. Will most likely stay again.

Great place. One of the best places to stay in San Diego if you’re on a budget, and far better than most budget places!

Third time visiting. Always a good price and a good place to stay.
