this property was beautiful located in a very cool old western town with a lot of history. there was a lot to do, tons of restaurants with delicious food, walking distance to old mission ruins. The hotel offered a beautiful pool, hot tub, and seating area with cabanas and tons of umbrellas for shade. They even included a high quality SPF station with lemon water. the room was diligently cleaned, staff were kind and the dinner restaurant food was amazing as well as the breakfast cafe that also offered delicious breakfast. Parking is pricey but the hotel is located next to an overnight parking garage within walking distance that is 1/2 the price. The only downfall was that the breakfast cafe that was supposed to serve lunch until 3pm closed their kitchen at 1pm and there were no servers at the pool during mon-wed which are the days we were there for so you have get up leave the pool for food and drinks.

Excellent stay

My roommate and I enjoyed her so much that we actually said we’re going to come back just to spend the day, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere again. Shara has a way of making you feel like you’ve known her forever, and that kind of genuine hospitality is hard to find. The overall experience was wonderful, but Shara definitely made it memorable. We will absolutely return…and she’s a big reason why! Thank you, Shara, for the great conversation, laughs, and positive energy! Cheers!

Pool, clean room, pleasant staff

I thought it was a sleazy way of squeezing more money from us. I would not recommend this or any hotel that uses these deceptive methods

Stayed at this Hotel twice before. Great stays, this time, not so much. 7 nights looking out to the parking lot. Couldn't be moved as they were booked/busy. Housekeeping mediocre, left room for the day/not cleaned until had to request at 4:00pm. Housekeeper told us she was very busy. Not a good look... Hotel Restaurant not open for Breakfast during weekdays, have to go to their little cafe/outside in courtyard,/limited selection. Valet Staff Friendly. Pool Staff friendly. Will try another hotel next trip to CA.

Great location next to the mission and several food options in walking distance or they will take you in their cart . Only valet parking and construction across the street (noise)

A gorgeous hotel, with pleasant, helpful staff. High base price, and nickel and diming drive up the price even more. The freeway noise is very intrusive, if you use the balcony. (It's fine in the room with the balcony door closed..)

The place is very stylish, nicely decorated and well maintained. It is located in the close proximity to the San Juan Capistrano Mission, and guests enjoy free admission. The pool was nice and clean, and the gardens were lovely.
