The property was clean and well kept. It’s close to every thing. The pool just a few steps out of every bungalow. Full kitchen and use of out grill. Being able cook out was a blast and beat the hustle waiting at a restaurant. Staff was fantastic. I’ve already booked another stay.

Parking was easy. Wonderful beach for swimming and shelling right across road. Pool, laundry facilities, bbq area and even beach chairs and umbrellas are available. Definitely staying here again. N Wilkes

The kitchen bathroom bedroom and living space were all very comfortable, clean and new. We had a short walk to a private beach and it was easy peasy with our beach stroller. LOVED and will be back.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in February of 2026. It met all of our expectations! The room was clean, pool area was well kept, and it was a short walk to the beach. We also liked the fact that they provided beach chairs/umbrellas. We were also very fortunate to meet the property owner, Denise, while we were there and she was extremely kind and helpful. We are ready to book it again!

The owner, Denise, was very nice and accommodating. No-see-ums everywhere on the island. They ate bug spray for breakfast. Not in the rooms, and there was nothing the hotel could do about it.

The Sunshine Island Inn was wonderful in all ways possible. Quiet, welcoming, great access to the beach and a pool. The room was so clean and well stocked. I would stay at Sunshine Island inn over any other place in Sanibel. Loved my time there. Nothing! Great location. Oh…they even have bug spray for the pesky no-see-ums.

Cute Inn within very short walk to the beach. Clean modern room, with convenient kitchen efficiency including a sizable refrigerator. Friendly staff, easy parking. Close drive/bike ride to Lighthouse Park and nearby shops and food. We enjoyed the frozen custard from The Shack, dinner at Tutti Pazzi, and riding bikes around the area.

With rising cost of stay on Sanbiel, this place is a true gem that worths the buck and hope it stays that way. Feel accommodation is pricing out normal folks after hurricane Ian due to scarcity.

The room was spacious and spotless. The kitchenette was a big plus. Just a short walk to the lovely beach.
