The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The only problem that I had was the spa. It was not as clean or luxurious as a highly rated spa should be. The showers and locker rooms were very old and not sparkly clean. There were no staff to help you unless you actively searched for help. Overall the staff at the front desk, the restaurant and the spa were Not friendly and helpful.

Seems like they’re selling a mediocre room at a premium price. Must be for weddings, engagements and anniversaries. The grounds are beautiful but the rooms are not. Our nearly $500 room was in the middle of a parking lot. I believe we paid extra to be at pool view. Completely unimpressed. Underwhelming.

We were there for just one night. Our room had a small patio with 2 chairs. The room itself was fine except it was very small. Being there for just one night was fine, but I wouldn’t want to stay there in that size room for longer. We ate breakfast there in the morning which was fine although the service was on the slow side. But it’s a beautiful property and worth going to.

Great property with wonderful amenities
-
Nice but large property. Pool outside room was noisy during the day. Restaurant and spa are good.
-
I wasn’t impressed by the service.
-
There was no phone in the room. Only text for request. No service connection.

Everything was perfect definitely will be back

Room was beautiful and spacious. Restaurant food was delicious! Staff were kind and helpful. Food truck on Friday Saturday was nice extra convenience at the pool. Pool and spa/gym were wonderful and easy to use.
-
Room was nice bed comfortable, small , clean bottom level , small patio. No balcony. Fine for us. Love the restaurant. Food was great! Crab cakes and smash burgers were my favorite. Breakfast was always delicious. Went on all trails on property. Always felt safe.

The property provides a nice retreat/escape. It was very relaxing and welcoming.

We came for one night in July and the resort was full so I expect to have a nice hotel stay. Unfortunately once we arrive, we were placed in the back rooms next to the pickle ball courts, and we had no Wi-Fi for our entire stay, which is upsetting since our cellular also did not work so we had phone access or computers. It would’ve been OK but then in the morning as we’re trying to get ready, we lost electricity and so he could not shower as it was pitch black and we could not get ready so by the time checkout came, we had to leave with again no electricity or Wi-Fi. For the price of this resort is unacceptable

Wonderful spur of the moment trip with family.

Breakfast is really good the staff are professional and attentive .

The Chaminade was oversold and didn’t have room for us we booked through Expedia, but they very helpfully covered our accommodations at a hotel with a magnificent view. It was better than expected but not quite as nice as the Chaminade.

Such a beautiful property, so peaceful and quiet. We love the music every day during happy hour at the restaurant. Would definitely go back again

One concern was the internet service. The Wi-Fi was unavailable from approximately 10:30 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. the following day. Unfortunately, there was no advisory or notification explaining the outage or providing an estimated time for restoration. Keeping guests informed during service interruptions would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, when I reviewed my bill, I noticed a charge posted to my room for an item that I did not purchase. I recommend that room charges be verified carefully before checkout to avoid billing errors and inconvenience to guests. I hope these issues can be addressed, as they would significantly improve the overall guest experience. Thank you for taking my feedback into consideration.

The property is in a nice location and close to the boardwalk. The room was decent but definitely not “resort” quality. Definitely do not eat the food here. The on site restaurant is very underwhelming and overpriced for the quality of food you get. We went to the restaurant for dinner and my wife ordered a $60 ribeye steak and it was served cold!! We ordered poolside sliders and a margarita and it took 2.5 hours. Definitely just a meh experience for the money we spent.
