Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea

We had a four day stay and were told at check in that the room would be cleaned mid stay. It wasn’t so we requested it cleaned and advised we had a plugged toilet in the morning before we headed out and were advised it would be taken care of. It wasn’t. We again talked to the front desk and they were less than helpful. We finally got the toilet plunged that night but not cleaned. Upon leaving we again spoke to the front desk staff to voice our disappointment in our stay and were basically told this wasn’t Pebble Beach, not the least bit apologetic

Nice, quiet property with comfortable beds. However, amenities were lacking (no fitness center, hot tub, etc)...and the continental breakfast was very minimal.

The location was perfect and we were able to walk to the beach and enjoy the sights along the way. We will definitely stay again.

Some painting of chipped paint needed but the price, location and comfort of the room is excellent.

Nice room

This was a "good enough" hotel. The only reason I would stay there again is that the location was good for what we needed to do in Soquel. However, for the price, I was unimpressed. The construction isn't great, and we could hear everything that was happening in the room above us.

Property is in a very quiet area. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast is the usual continental breakfast with the option to make waffles. I would stay again.

I like the location. I did not like the breakfast . There is hardly no breakfast at all

A little over priced

Staff was nice. Building outdated and could hear the people above our room. Refrigerator made a constant noise.

I wouldn’t come back here.

The furniture was worn out. But all else was fine. Will stay again.

The rooms were good size. Breakfast was okay, pool was nice, not walkable for seniors because it was on a steep hill, not to far from the town & beach but you need to drive there. nice remodeled rooms

Woman at check in was WONDERFUL! got there a couple of hours early and she had our room ready. Room was huge and very clean. Property was well maintained and in a great location. Quiet. Stayed one night. Went to Santa Cruz Boardwalk which was about 15 minutes from hotel.

For paying 450.00 a night it was rather dissapointig
