Ramada by Wyndham Sarasota Waterfront

Being on the marina was a plus. Breakfast was also a great perk. Didn't enjoy the adjoining restaurant allowing smokers in common eating areas. Made for an undesirable dining experience.

Like the location

Waterfront room view was perfect. 💯 Siomaris & Lisbeth - Reception, were phenomenal! Leidy - Housekeeping, awesome! Francis & Randy - Maintenance, beautiful people! Emily - Bartender, was perfect! Kim, Linda(?) & one other bartender need customer service training, imo. All 3 were challenging in their demeanor. The only other downside was the uncovered smoking areas. Non-smoking was covered, smoking was NOT, which is important because it rains almost daily in Sarasota. Oh, the breakfast spread was great!

Rooms are nice and clean, as well as the beds and bedding. The breakfast is good and location near airport is nice. Staff was polite and helpful. The restaurant stops serving food at 8 pm. The exterior needs some improvement. Large parking lot.

Stayed in a suite. It was perfect size and priced right!

The maids were helpful, and the staff at breakfast were pleasant. The rooms upstairs were humid. The floor was wet and the air was very humid. The old fashioned cheap window AC didn't work. The TV charged for anything you watched, any movie. They charged an extra charge as security and didn't give it back to us when we left.

Upon arrival the property looked decent. Nice manicured gardens. Check in I was able to get my room early. Which was nice. Check in was quick. Gal at the counter was nice. Entering the room, we had a bottom floor two queen bed, water view. The room, super dated. The curtains dont fit the "you're at the beach" the beds, absolutely thee most uncomfortable. Blankets were very thin. Pillows extremely flat. TV was nice. Microwave and fridge were nice. There was a chair and desk. Those were nice. The AC was fabulous and worked great. The view/glass sliding door. The glass was so foggy I could barely see out. The slider was super janky and didnt even open easily. There were also a table and chairs on the patio. The bathroom. So gross. Shower head was broken. Paint was peeling, wall trim broken, rust on the light fixture, garbage left under the bathroom sink. Hair left in the shower. Dirt and scum all over the tub. Lighting in the room on of the lamps with multiple lights one was a warm bulb the other white. Breakfast, very basic. So basic that the eggs were instant rather than real. Potatoes cooked too long. Best thing I had at breakfast was peach yogurt. The pool was nice. My daughter liked it. Some umbrellas would've been nice f

Beautiful location on the water. Nice view, pool, and convenient tiki bar/restaurant right by. No swimming in pool after dark even with several lights and bar still open right next to.

I stay here 2 to3 days a week,but I go somewhere else for breakfast only because it starts to late for me, but the staff is very nice.clean rooms.but I leave by 6:00.😩😩😩.

Good location, centrally located. Usually quiet. Great ticki bar and canal area. Breakfast buffet was great. Dog barking in a private apartment on property. Pool closed entire stay. Not having luggage carriers in each building, only in main building. I was in last building so it was many trips to pack or unpack the car. Bathroom needs fan it gets very steamy when showering.
