Best Western Plus Inn Scotts Valley

Good location, but a very "budget" hotel. Fortunately I was here for less than 9 hours, but likely wouldn't stay with family here.

It’s a bit noisy and the curtains aren’t great. But the hot tub was chill and for a quick stay due to work it was sufficient. The staff were kind and helpful.

Lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful when I needed to stay an extra night. She went above and beyond and I am incredibly grateful.

Kind of run down and lack of parking due to small spaces. Beds were okay but dated

Tub was dirty and water was brown when first turned on. Bed linen was scratchy and thin. Bottom sheet came off easily. Bed was not comfortable

Everything was very good without any complications excellent service as much as the staff and the room cleaning.

The room was so so clean nothing spectacular! The beds were OK. Out of the four nights we stayed there three were cold morning showers because no hot water. If you want quiet don’t stay here. You heard everybody’s toilet flush showers. Go sinks. Go on fans go on. It was quite an older motel.

When we opened Room 106, the odor was significantly worse. I turned on the air and opened the door, hoping it would clear. Within minutes, I began wheezing and needed my inhaler. We left the door open while at the pool and later left the air running while we went to the beach. I called the front desk and explained that the room was affecting my breathing. I was told that if the smell was still there when we returned and I needed to check out, to let them know. After being gone about 3 hours, I walked back into the room and immediately began having an asthma attack. I was coughing, my throat was burning, and I was struggling to breathe. We packed up and made the 3-hour drive home, despite having family events there the next day. The employee checking us out could hear that I was struggling to breathe. I was told I would receive a refund, which has now been denied. My sister also complained about the same odor in her room and was offered another room. I was never offered one. I will be contacting the local health department. No guest should have to choose between the room they paid for and being able to breathe.

They did try to fix it but it was a ongoing annoyance

It was nice, clean and well maintained. Breakfast, smimming pool and hot tub was nice. We stayed one night at downstairs but quite noisy inside room, sounds like washing machine runs upstairs.

Maid service did not clean room when we left on Sunday for the day.

The sheets on the bed were very wrinkled and looked like the bed had been slept in and just pulled up. Good breakfast

Great stay, our room was very quiet and comfy. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the breakfast was exactly what we expected. Thanks!

Our room was clea and neat, great hotel staff (Morgan was professional and courteous) we enjoyed breakfast and appreciate greatly the lady in charge of managing the breakfast are (did not get her name... She was polite, courteous, so professional and very responsive to people's requests)

No regular lobby coffee. Fancy machine in the dining room that makes everything but coffee. Bed was ok. Bedding was "short sheeted". Barely came up to my lower chest. Bedding was neither exchanged for second night, nor was the bed made. Other customers parked crazy bad, left no room for another car to park next to them. Some construction company customers blatantly straddled the line with regard for other vehicles. "Continental breakfast was terrible! Especially the bacon. Limp partially cooked bacon can give you food poisoning. I know from experience.

Lovely place to stay, very convenient and the free breakfast was very nice.

Pool was nice. Clean room, we had a great location in the trees at the end of the wing. Nice and quiet
