Our stay here was great! The only issue we had was every vending machine on each floor was sold out of all the drinks, so that was a little inconvenient.
-
Room had no microwave No breakfast unless you’re paying a bunch. Hotel room halls smell Vending machines were either out of order or not stocked. Also no ice machine on every floor
-
Nice hotel with tons of history. Walking distance to downtown.
-
The town shuts down on Monday’s but other than that the hotel was way cool. It was on old train depot and had great aesthetics.
-
The shower was moldy around the bottom door. And the biggest issue is the air conditioning. It was so loud clicking on and off that none of us slept a wink.

I was really disappointed by this hotel. The pictures looked great, but the entire place smelled bad, like 70 years of cigarette smoke, bad cleaning products, and stale air. The room was dingy, the TV was maybe 20 years old, the curtains were broken, and the street noise was really loud. I wanted to write a review just to encourage people to look elsewhere and not be fooled by the nice pictures or the cool historic building. The staff was very friendly. At this price point, I expect a lot more.

The hotel public space was gorgeous! The room itself was just okay. There was a strong musty odor in the room that never went away. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

Wonderful place to stay and eat

Was a great spot to stop over for a few hours rest in between a bad weather event. Comfy beds. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Enjoyed our short visit.

Front desk was amazing and very professional! Also the food is great and bartenders are the best you’re gonna find in Scranton !

If you love The Office, you’ll love this hotel! This is where Dwight’s Speech was recorded, and it’s an absolutely beautiful property! Very comfy beds, very clean, and huge room! The tea and coffee in the room was well stocked. The Lackawanna Welcome Center in right across the street, where you can pick up a map of sights to see from The Office. Most things were in a 2 mile walk from the hotel. I discovered so much more while I was doing the self-guided tour that I’ll be coming back to see!

The view in the lobby is worth the trip alone. Room was spacious and the building is an architectural landmark. It’s in a perfect location for enjoying downtown Scranton. Room service was great, would love to stay there again in the future.

The area next to the registration area is breathtaking and worthy of many photographs. Be sure to look for the gigantic vault that has been converted into a coat room. The quality of the rooms is about the same as you would find in other hotel chains. Another unacceptable feature of the hotel is that you have to pay to park in the hotel’s parking lot. There is a parking garage nearby if you have difficulty with this feature.
-
Beautiful, centerpiece building from a bygone era. Room was immaculate and parking reasonable. The fare was low, but I booked at the very last minute.
-
The bathroom could have used a fan.
-
This was a cool property that was at one time an old train station. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful.

On a spur-of-the-moment decision to break up our day traveling, we made a reservation to stop in Scranton. Boy, were we surprised! The Radisson Station Lackawanna Hotel is beautiful. Easy to get to. Convenient to walk to downtown. Clean rooms that smelled nice. The food was delicious in the Pub. One of our favorite stops on vacation!

This hotel was really nice. The lobby alone is worth seeing. Bed was comfortable. Fitness room is basic but fine.
