Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton

Nice place. Interesting architecture and history. Dinner was good, we ate at the bar. Very convenient to the University of Scranton. We unfortunately we hit this on parents weekend, so the prices were super high, especially for Scranton. Not good grab and go selection for breakfast or lunch on the run. Food was ok for the price.

The hotel was fabulous. Every staff member we encountered was helpful! Room was clean and quiet. Location is great. Only one complaint was with bartender who basically ignored us at end of bar waited 10 minutes never acknowledged we were there. We got up and moved to a table where the waiter made up for the lack of service.

I highly recommend this hotel. My husband and I stayed in Scranton on our way to visit our son in Virginia for family weekend. We loved our overnight experience. The historic building is very cool, staff was helpful, the room as nicely decorated, comfortable and clean and the Trax bar/restaurant was perfect. Parking and access to the highway was easy. We will be back!

We got here after a five hour drive, asked at the front desk if the restaurant was still serving and if there was room service. They said yes. Then we called down and they told us they had closed the kitchen already. Then we went to go grab food, came back and there was a man who was clearly drunk in the lobby, just asleep in a chair or very close to falling asleep. The room smelled stale, there was hair all over the shower and bathroom door, none of the vending machines worked and our room was smaller than advertised.

Windows were not helping with outrageous sound from road construction at midnight on 9/13/26

did not receive room services, no new towels, did not come in and make the beds, empty garbage, etc.

Exceptional

The peace and quiet that can be staying at your request. Also the story which was interesting to read about. Next time, in other occasions, I want to come back again. Even the rain may be a good companion, also because the hotel is located around many restaurants and local stores. This is a personal issue/situation. It was because my partner was absent so I didn't enjoy enough the rest of my day and night.
