Broken elevator and no water for 8 hrs

Close to grandsons school Every time we come there something is broke. This time the elevator would not come down unless we called the front desk. Last time the swimming pool was out of order for quite some time. If we ask to book a Jacuzzi room if not already booked we should be able to get it. I am a choice hotel member. Small hole in the wall near the tub in room 422

The location was convenient, and the room itself had adequate space. Unfortunately, the negative issues with the property and my inability to sleep overshadowed the positives of the stay. Given the multiple serious issues that significantly affected the cleanliness, comfort, safety, and overall usability of the room—and the fact that I was unable to get the restful stay I paid nearly $200 for—I believe I deserve a full refund for this stay. There were several things I did not like about this property, and unfortunately they affected nearly every part of my stay. From the moment I entered the room, there was a strong mold/mildew-type odor, and it appeared to be coming from the air-conditioning/HVAC unit. This was especially concerning for me because I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), which can cause reactions to environmental triggers such as mold, mildew, smoke, strong odors, chemicals, and other airborne irritants. Symptoms from exposure can include headaches, dizziness, nausea, flushing, itching, hives, swelling, chest tightness, wheezing, shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, gastrointestinal symptoms, and in more serious cases, an anaphylactic-type reaction. I fully understand that I cannot control every environment I enter or every person I may encounter in public. However, when I pay nearly $200 for a hotel room, I do have a reasonable expectation that the hotel will provide a clean, comfortable indoor environment that is not filled with persistent marijuana odor or a mold/mildew-type smell coming from the HVAC system. The marijuana odor on the second floor was also extremely unpleasant and concerning. There was no noticeable marijuana smell in the first-floor lobby, around the first floor, near the pool area, or while riding in the elevator. The odor became immediately noticeable as soon as I stepped off the elevator onto the second floor. I was in and out of my room numerous times throughout the afternoon and into the evening, and the marijuana odor remained strong throughout the second-floor hallway. It was not a brief smell that disappeared after someone walked by. It was persistent for hours and honestly gross.
