Lovely boutique hotel in a restored building - very nice place to stay!

Such a cool local place to stay! Loved all the historic details blended with the modern conveniences

The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced. Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see. The downtown architecture is beautiful. Would definitely return.

You folks are great. Sally and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. Thank you. Can't think of anything.
-
loved the historic aspects of this 100-year-old hotel! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. My only complaint is they offered no plant-based milk alternatives for tea, coffee, or cereal.

It was okay. Not terrific. The clerk was rarely at the front desk. Restaurant closed. Freezing AC unit was very difficult to control in room.

We like the spacious room and historic feel of the place. The location was also great. We didn't like the thin walls, we heard way more of our neighbors than we wanted to. The bathroom layout was a little odd but we made it work. Also, the bed was really hard and not as comfy as we'd like.

Liked the classic old hotel atmosphere.

Breakfast was good, location was great and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. nothing

Amazing experience! Service was above and beyond and the room was spotless.

This unique classic and beautiful old hotel is picturesque. The staff is warm, helpful and funny. There must have been 15 bikers with bicycles crowding the lobby and the staff could not have been more chill and friendly. We milled around there for a good hour. I had NO negative experience at this lovely place!

This is absolutely gorgeous hotel! It was a comfy stay, and the only problem we had was that one of our TWO bathrooms' toilets quit working. Not a big deal since we had two bathrooms! It's right in the downtown historic district with lots of little shops and places to eat. Be careful though, most little shops aren't open during the week, when we were there, but only on the weekends. It's super close to the Katy Trail, which was very convenient for my husband, who is a cyclist. HIghly recommend!

Hotel and staff were awesome.

This is a must stay if you’re biking the Katy Trail. They were very accommodating for bikers. Historic hotel just blocks from the trail. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant and bar in the hotel was top notch. Plus lots of wonderful dining spots nearby.
-
Back in time quality, friendly and courteous staff. Great place to visit. Even the guests were friendly and courteous. Very clean inside and out!
-
The property was great! The bed however, was far too soft for both my boyfriend & I. We both have back issues & didn’t sleep well. If you like cloud soft beds; this place is for you. The bed

This was one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I have ever had. Everything was truly outstanding except for the breakfast, and that was above average. The front desk people, Marina and the woman whose name I forget, were incredibly accommodating and patient with me as I fumbled around trying to find my driver’s license, etc. and they had no problem with me taking my bike into my room. There is nothing not to like.

Unique and charming.

Very friendly and welcoming staff! The lobby was very beautiful. The hotel rooms are on the older side, but they were clean.
