Room was not clean and had a terrible odor. Carpet was filthy. Overall very poor!

I needed a place for my son to stay who is at Clemson while he was between apartments. The location was very convenient to restaurants and shopping and very safe location. Place was clean and well maintained.

All five stars it will not disappoint

Pool was nice, Pool Staff was present but they only took cash for part of the day (which I didn’t have on me at the time) and they told us we could not bring outside beverages (but couldn’t buy any either) Other people had Starbucks cups and 7 eleven cups with straws as observed but she has my daughter throw away her iced coffee. That bothered me.
-
The worse that in entrance to pool was person that not alow to bring beverages inside become we were supposed to buy it on pool bar

Well I'm not sure about all the other so-called subpar reviews on here but I've stayed at many a place over the years and I certainly would ranked this very nice. We had a maintenance issue which really turned out to be not true issue at all, it's more like how the plumbing is arranged for the hot water stands for cold and cold as hot but the maintenance man came right up check it without any problem. There was no noise during the night and there were no bugs to speak of whatsoever. The accommodation for comfortable the bed was very comfortable, the water pressure was acceptable, and they were plenty of utensils and fairly good stock kitchen. The only thing I would make changes to is the television was out of date and was not a smart TV, I went also add a ceiling fan to the room due to the vaulted ceiling. The restaurant could use a little help but the food selection which was mediocre at best. While edible it was not worth the price charged. I believe that that's a separate issue from the hotel itself.

Lovely pool, yummy on site restaurant

What a beautiful night in Clemson at your amazing property. It's convenient to everything, clean, well-appointed, and graciously staffed.

Nice rooms, but TV reception was good. Would have been a beautiful view if the trees and brush would have been trimmed an manicured. It is on the lake but you can't really see it. It's hard to walk down to it either because of the briers. Property and pool is nice, but can't take your own drinks. They have a bar at the pool. The restaurant was good. See above

Great location! When we arrived to our room, I noticed that there were several hairballs on the floor. And the floors themselves did not seem like they hadn’t even been cleaned. And the lobby smelled horrible when we walked in.

Elevators were down for a while

The room was poorly cleaned. We found pieces of trash that were left behind by another guest, the floors were so sticky we had to wear shoes the entire time, and the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned between guests. There were trash bags sitting in the halls. If they aren't going to have housekeeping on site, they should not market themselves as a hotel.

The hotel room was not clean, and the staff was not welcoming or accommodating. My impression was that the focus was on enforcing policies and collecting fees rather than providing good customer service.. There was little to no flexibility when we needed assistance. The amenities also failed to meet expectations. The hot tub was out of service, there was no evening fire despite it being advertised as an amenity, and the so\-called “lake view” was misleading because the lake is largely hidden behind a wall of trees\. Overall, this hotel did not deliver the experience it promises. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, unavailable amenities, and misleading views, I left feeling that it was overpriced and not worth the cost. There are better places to stay in Clemson.

The first floor room was a little musty smelling but overall a great stay!
