DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Cincinnati - Blue Ash

Hotel is under renovation and will be much improved. Room was very clean and nice. Was a comfortable stay and great location.

The hotel was under construction, however that was not the real problem. Our first night, we were put in a room that was filthy, and not from construction. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The carpet and walls were stained, no mattress pad on the bed, mirrors missing from the bathroom, the TVs didn't work nor did the hair dryer. Luckily, we were able to change rooms the next day to a room that had partially been remodeled but was still very dirty in my opinion and not from construction. With the exception of the front desk person and the bartender, the staff was not overly friendly.

In my room, the sheet had a stain on it. Also, there was no sheets or comforter for the pull out bed. The phones are outdated. Also, there are no USB outlets in the room. The tvs are also outdated.

Staff was excellent but the rooms were not the cleanest

No early check in. No ice maker on third or second floor Ice was served in lobby out of an open tub w/ no lid. Rooms seemed old and out dated and sustain in shower. No complimentary breakfast.

Cookies were out at 10pm. Kids were disappointed. They told us we could get some in the morning, which we did. We got in late and the bedding for the pullout wasn’t already in the room. Lobby furniture is supper old. Says 4 stars, more like 2-2.5…

The condition was well below 4 stars. Closer to 1.5. We went out of our way for a nice hotel and this wasn’t it. Nasty room.

I had a terrible time starting from the beginning . The room wasn’t ready @ 3 pm and from the looks of it they were trying to make repairs. The bed comforter , sheets and towels were dirty. I had to go back up to front desk and complain to get another room . I went told them I need clean sheets and comforter for the pull out couch, the housekeeper went and got them and put them on the counter, not bringing them to the room.This hotel isn’t qualified to be under the Hilton Brand .The second day one of the male employee walked into my room didn’t knock, while I was in my underwear in the bed and didn’t apologize, just said oops standing there looking and he said looking for the housekeeper.The breakfast was $20 a day and undesirable ! I should be comped some of my money back because no notification that the hotel was being renovated and the whole hotel was in disarray.I took pictures of the first room and carpet (room &hallway)filthy, was a mess , holes in the wall and dirty.Hilton should be careful who they let carry the brand and do a full research if the hotel is in line with brand quality. I will never book with another DoubleTree - Hilton Hotel again.

The breakfast was good, friendly waitress. Comfy beds, quiet atmosphere. The smell in the stairs was terrible. Found a dirty qtip on the ground in my room. The trash cans had no trash bags.

Room was clean. The pool had a lot of clumps of hair floating around but the hotel was out of power so I don't think the filter was working.

Only liked the location. Hotel was under construction. Rooms are dated and paint peel from walls and sheetrock falling. Smelled mildewy. Wont stay here again until renovations

Great Stay!

Nothing to like. Under construction The property was under construction. I normally wouldn’t complain about that but there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. No closet in the room. Nowhere to place your suitcase. No bedding for the sleeper sofa. Shower was inadequate and bathroom was in the process of renovation. This room cost an exorbitant amount of money for utter disarray. If the room were priced with the construction in mind I would have a much different opinion. Will not be spending any more time in a Double Tree property
